Moving to orlando but do not know the best areas to be in.
Looking for safe environment, want to avoid undesirable areas.
Would like middle class neighborhoods.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

Where are you going to be working? Your commute is important.

Just to be honest, I have a friend who went through paramedic school. It is very intense FYI. Once he graduated, when the economy was good 5 years ago, it took him several months to find a job. He kept applying to fire departments and finally got an interview. There were 100 people at the interview and they hired 2, he luckily was one. Your husband may do better in the ER, not sure. You can take a course as Patient Care Tech and work at the hospital.

Also, a medical assistant is a good job.
Medical Assistants
He could work at the hospital or doctor's office. My friend just started working as one and said they pay $10-$16 hr. If you work at a specialty office, you get more. Also, the more you get experience, the more you get paid. I know that is not a whole lot, but it's an income in the medical field.

One other job that pays very well is a physical therapist or PT assistant.
