This exit was open a couple years ago, but once construction of the arena started it was closed. I expected at some point it would reopen, but is this thing closed for good?

I thought the same thing when I was going to the Citrus Bowl the other night for the Orlando City game. They should at least take the South Street exit sign down so that people forget the exit was ever there.

Yeah, it's around that same area, but I don't think they are doing anything with that exit this weekend. I agree that they should take down the sign if they are not going to re-open it. Perhaps the Anderson St exit was always meant to replace the South St exit? Maybe having a left lane exit right there was causing congestion.

Another thing I see downtown is a ramp coming from 408 that just ends in mid-air. Did they just drop the project? Looks terrible.

The original plans for the I4 and 408 interchange were never fully carried out. In the future the crazy interchange will be rebuilt.
