I've lived in both and I prefer Seminole County to Orange. As far as the criteria you mentioned it depends on where you live within either county. Both will offer about the same level of restaurants and entertainment. I think Seminole County schools have an edge over Orange County but again I think it depends on what area you're in.

I live in Winter Park, right on the borderline of Orange & Seminole and we take advantage of programs and events in both counties. Were you thinking of a particular area?

Well south Seminole is pretty much an extension of Orange county but the question is simply do you prefer more urban or suburban lifestyle? The two are not competing areas they are complimentary areas. Seminole is the bedroom community to Orange and accordingly is more slow paced and family oriented.

I personally prefer Orange County. Always have, always will.

Granted the crime is higher, the traffic is a bit worse, but almost everything is close by, and Orange County is more affordable than Seminole County IMO. If I were to move back it would most likely be to Waterford Lakes (or almost anywhere east of Goldenrod) Downtown, Metrowest or the Hunters Creek/south Orlando area where I used to live. I like Seminole County, nothing wrong with it, but its not for me

I think it comes down to what priority family plays in your life... if you are young and don't have a family (save parents and aunts/uncles) I'm guessing that OC is more interesting. If you have kids, the idea of a safer more community driven environment is better.

The only thing I would rank Seminole County higher than Orange County in is the schools.

Both are equal quality wise on the rest.

I'm not voting because the poll is too vague.
