Hi,
I'm looking into relocating to Florida from Massachusetts. (I'm 30 yrs old, have a husband, a 7 year old son, and 2 dogs. I'm an RN, with 10 yrs experience as an ER nurse)

I found a property in Brighton Lakes in Kissimmee that I love....

Anyone have any insight into that community?
I did a forum search and nothing came up....

Is it good for famillies? Dogs? To live there and have a baby? Proximity to hospitals? (i'm a nurse) and any other info that may be helpful.

Thank you in advance for your time in answering my questions... I know all of our time is valuable.

Why Kissimmee? To me, it's a place to vacation, not live. It's very transient and touristy. I'd live outside of there as there are many more choices that are better to raise a family. If you want to live close by, try Dr Philips, Lake Nona or something outside of there.

I know when we vacation there, it's alot of fun. Living there and vacationing there are two different things.

Unless you have your job near there, I'd look elsewhere like Maitland/Alamonte Springs/Lake Mary/Winter Park... somewhere a decent way away from "Tourlando". Like others have said... great to visit, not to live.
