Anyone here know how much incentive they pay? Is it per reservation?

DRC is located on Municipal Dr. off Sand Lake. Incentive is complicated - it's based on a monthly overall total sales.

How strick are they? Example I have worked for a cruise line before and at first when it was not busy in between calls you were free to at your desk do as you wished. Read a book,Read a magazine,Pay a bill..whatever. Of course when a call would come in it was all business. You were also free to make your desk your own personal space. You could have pictures of loved ones or any tasteful decoration. Everything was fine and Everyone was happy then one day a new manager arrived.

Our floor went from vibrant and full of life to what I could best described as a the inside of an egg. No more colorful desk's no more reading in between calls. If it was slow we had to "study" the brochure. Morale went down and I quickly decided is time to change departments.

So what is it like in reservations at Disney?

I worked at Disney Cruise Line reservations and you were allowed to put up personal pictures, frames, knick knacks, pins, etc. at your desk area. This was a few years ago-but Disney is pretty creative minded. Most office areas at WDW are very creative looking I don't remember there being much down time on the phone lines to read, but I think you could have magazines, etc. You were supposed to read all of the announcements for the day and updates when you came in. They did watch your signing off the phone activity (bathroom breaks) closely. That stinks for some people because they are on medications, pregnant, etc. and have to go a lot! I guess they make exceptions. I heard the reservation center was worse with goals, etc. DCL was pretty mellow for a call center. It has probably gotten bigger with the 2 new ships though.

It looks like Spanish is a "preferred qualification" and not a "required or basic qualification."
