When oh when is 535 from Fiqcuette Road to Stonybrook West pkwy/429 EVER going to be done? Anyone heard anything?? I tried emailing FDOT and the email doesn't work. The gridlock on this road is ridiculous. It takes 20 minutes plus to go 2 miles.

When Silver Star was taking forever my son would complain.....I told him....do you want it done fast or correct?
I'm now glad they took their time. They did a good job.

I was just out that way Sept 8th and felt that a lot of work had been done since I was there there year before.

Then again I'm only out that way once a year. I don't have to deal with it every day.

Supposedly it was suppose to be done in April and now it seems, this last part of it, is taking so long and the backups are horrendus.

I'm so glad we don't live over there anymore. I visit family/friends out there every now and again, and it's a complete nightmare. I swear it looks exactly the same as it did nearly a year ago. I'd be curious to know when it's supposed to be completed as well. If you happen to get any more insight, please share.

It's been over 18 months since it started at least because that is when we bought our condo in the area and the construction was going on then! My daughter just updated her fb status last night reflecting how difficult it is to get through there still!

Wow, I can't believe that is still going on. I lived in Independence from 2008-2010 and the construction was going on then probably started in 2009. The road is terrible and I can remember being stuck in traffic many times and also had issues with flooding in certain areas.

Well, we've been in the area since 2001, first Winter Garden on 535, now Windermere on 535. It wasn't a joy then and it isn't a joy now. The email from Yohynot, didn't work. I suppose I should call them and see what's going on.
