DH and I are considering a move to central FL from SC where we have lived 4+ years; we are from New England. My father is probably taking a job with Disney, and we want to stay near(ish) to my parents.

Among things like school districts and property values, good gymnastics schools for my DD6 is something I am researching. Any tips?

My DS8 is very serious about baseball. How's the little league culture in the area?

DH would be looking for work from Orlando to Tampa (before we move), and I just want to get a feel for the availability of my kids' activities before we focus the search.

Dr. Phillips has a Little League right in the middle of it next to the YMCA.

My daughter is doing a rhythmic gymnastics (the one where they use ribbons, hoops, balls, and ropes -- only girls can do that, and they have b-e-a-uuuutiful postures) off of Sand Lake, and they have tumbling, aerial silks, and lyra classes all in the same gym.

They competed last weekend in Tampa, and all the girls did very well -- 3 of them became all-around champions (including my DD7)

A friend of mine (former Cirque du Soleil acrobats (circus family in 4th generation)) have their own circus school where they teach aerial silks, trapeze, and many other classes.

There is Orlando Metro Gymnastis, and they have very good programs (competitive, recreational, and after-school) for regular gymnastics.
