Question Relocating to Orlando

We are relocating to Orlando from Ohio for my husband's job in April. His job is located near Lake Ellenor close to Sky Lake and the Florida Mall. We are looking to rent a NICE pool home in a good area. We were amazed to see homes that fit our criteria with 3+ bedrooms and over 2400 sq. ft. for less than $1600. We are looking to spend $1200 - $1800. Our biggest concerns are safety, convenience and commute time. Up here in central Ohio it makes a huge difference if you live North, South, East or West. You can live 20 miles from work and have a 25 minute commute if you live in the South Side vs. a 1 hour commute if you live on the North Side. Can anyone give us any GOOD detailed advice about the best areas to focus on based on his work location. We would like to have the commute under 30 minutes if possible. The shorter the better. We like to have things like restaurants and shopping fairly close by. It is just us right now so being close to childrens activities is not a must. We hope to live in a diverse neighborhood and tend to gravitate towards neighbors that have quaint shops and bars in them or gated communities.

This was not a planned promotion and while we are totally happy, we have not examined Orlando and thought of it as a potential home. We do not know any neighborhoods yet or anything. We do know that we only want to rent for at least a year. We hope that we can gather some great advice on hear while we are searching for rentals on our own and checking out relocation sites!

Thanks in advance!

Default Rental Property

Hi we have a lovely pool home in the extremley quiet subdivision of Royal Palms which is just a few mins from the I4jct55/US27 junction . This area is set for a huge expansion programme with the new Posner Park being created with new shops, restaurants and lifestyle park being built. We were letting it out as a holiday home but now want to rent to a long term renter. Initially a years rental would be ideal. It has 3 bedrooms 2 baths (one is a pool bath) and sits on a lovely corner plot. It has a double garage, oversized pool and is fully furnished. The house is well looked after and would make a wonderful family home. It is a mostly residential sub division with lovely neighbours which is well maintained and has an active HOA.
Please contact me or the letting agents at Home Hunting Headquarters - Rentals and Property Management in Kissimee Florida (FL) for further information. Thanks for your time, warmest regards Miranda Hacklett
