Surprised it wouldn't work elsewhere as it essentially the same thing as AT&T gsm but it is prepaid, rather than postpaid.

I typically travel to Europe, not Mexico and rarely Canada and would have no reason to text to or from either of those countries. We have five phones on our shared minutes family plan, and probably pay less than you do when it's all factored in. One of the phones is used extensively for business (800-1000 minutes per month).

Yeah for 2 lines though it can't be beat. $70 for everything including all fees and taxes. The 5 line option is $100, again all in. I've saved $600/year since switching, same coverage and 4G speed I had with AT&T
