I'm buying a new home, so I will be moving some of my furniture to that property, things like a king mattress, some large paintings, two lounge chairs and a coffee table and that's about it. It's just a 10 minute drive from my current house.

Does anyone recommend any movers for local deliveries?

Thanks!

I think it's safe to say that you're staying in Dr. Phillips though?

I have had good experience with Two Men and A Truck. They have done a few moves for me locally and I was always satisfied.

Yep, I'll be moving but still staying in Dr Phillips.

Thank you move for the suggestion, I'll give them a call.

I used Expedient Movers a couple of times and had very good results. They're time efficient and conscientious of belongings as well. Tampa, Miami, Jacksonville, Orlando Movers | Moving Companies Florida | Movers FL

With that amount of stuff, rent a small truck and get a buddy to help.

Check out Uhaul.com.... there will be a list of movers along with reviews. There's usually a 2 hour minimum.

I used Big Boy Movers to unload my truck when I moved here in November. His name is Larry and you can find him on CL. Really nice guy, worked hard and was punctual with his time (that's really big to me).

We were very happy with American Movers - price was fair, they were very careful with our stuff and handled some harder parts very nicely

Thank you everyone, I will call for quotes.

Also, I just don't have time to rent a truck, schedule a time for my friends and I etc. I have too many things going on right now.
