There is a nicely-kept looking mosque on the south end of Apopka-Vineland, so I think if you went there they could tell you were to meet other Muslims in the area.

There must be a decent sized Islamic population in southern Lake County as well, as there is a brand new Mosque being built on Highway 27 just north of Minneola.

Car dealerships I've been to lately seem to be full of Arab salespeople - Moroccan, other Arab. Also Pakistanis (I realize non-Arabs). Whether they're Muslims or not I can't say for sure, but I would guess yes. In particular Central Florida Toyota and Courtesy Toyota.

Just by coincidence, the last two times I was at Lake Eola downtown there were once a group of (presumably) Libyans staging a protest for their country and another day the Turkish Festival was going on. I know that's not Arab, but I do notice a sizable Middle Eastern community in Orlando. Even at the Avalon Pockets in Avalon Park/East Orlando I met some Jordanians and Egyptians. Also there are quite a few Muslim or Middle Eastern student organizations at UCF, as well as a hand full of Facebook groups. Do some searching online and you should find a lot.

I am disgusted at some halal restaurant owners I typed in on zabihah for halal places near to my hotel as we are from the uk and first time here we kept ringing the restraints that do deliver and explained we muslims and we want to eat halal all they kept say "oh it's going to take 30mins to come" when my husband replays we don't care if it turns cold we can heat it up then he says "oh it's going to cost a lot in delivery" which then my husband explained to him my wife has hurt herself she jus came out of hospital and needs to eat properly to bring her strength back up I don't care how much it will cost me I'll pay his reply was "oh no sorry we cannot" and then gave us a number for another halal place which dose not deliver at all. Really upset with some off the Muslims in this country Evan after explaining and offering endless amount of money none of them we're will to make it an exception.
