I was looking to move to Central Florida and one of my options was Sanford. I just need a temporary 7 month apartment and the only one I have found so far is the Stonebrook Apts. Anyone have inside info?

Really? Is the area relatively calm and peaceful? Have you had any trouble with the apartment or neighbors?

I grew up in Oviedo, FL...just southeast of Sanford. Sanford is know for being the ghetto of Seminole County. I'd recommend getting an apartment in Winter Springs or Oviedo and driving up 417 to Sanford if that's where your job is. And to be honest, I'd recommend gettign a job somewhere else. They're trying to clean up Sanford with the riverwalk and things, but it needs more than just a pretty landscaping job.

MMM depends where you are in Sanford. Certain areas are fine, but othr's aren't. All apt complexes have ther issues. If you don't want to live in Sanford, you can always go to neighboring Lake Mary. Pebble Creek Apts, Sun Lake, or income restricted Regal Point. If you have kids, I'd recommend Lake Mary b/c of the schools. I shop in Sanford all the time and I feel safe. You can also look for temporary housing on craigslist.

Well actually, I'm just a student looking for housing during my internship time. The only apartments I was looking into were the Stonebrook. So...

All apartments in Sanford are Ghetto but this is the best you will find. If you are Asian you'll be comfortable to know that the biggest minority second to white are Asians here.

I have a 2 bedrom 2 bath and it came with a washer and dryer. Only the Phase 2 of the Complex has a Laundry mat and I dont think anyone ues it.
