Hello All,

I have been considering moving to the Orlando area for years. I work in the IT field but rarely see any jobs available in the area. Any suggestions on where to look?

Also where to live is a big concern. We recently rode through a community called Cypress Landing off Conroy heading towards Windermere, we really liked the look of the neighborhood with the larger trees and what looked like newer homes. I was hoping to get suggestions on other similar neighborhoods around Central Florida to look at. I would prefer to be a little further out where I might find larger lots, etc. I also want don't want to have to deal with the tourist traffic, something north of Orlando that looks like this neighborhood would be more ideal I think.

Any suggestions on safe family orientated neighborhoods to look at?

Hey Mike,

Shoot me an IM, I'm in IT as well and I made the move in late October and found a contract position pretty quickly once I was local. I can give you some contacts I have as well, what type of IT work do you do?
