Hello...I am thinking of moving to Orlando in the future and would like to get some advice. I am a military retiree, 52yo female. I would prefer to rent a nice place (apartment), gated community a plus, around $1000 a month. I won't need a job since I could probably live well on my military pension. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What type of area are you interested in? Urban, suburbs, rural, active or what? What type of activities do you like to do?

Hi Beckycat...I'm interested in urban living; I can't take the rural. I need to see people, shopping malls, theaters, nice restaurants, but at the same time I would like a place where I can feel safe. I am single, so I have no restrictions.

There are some nice condos downtown. I know they've been talked about on here. I'll try to find some threads.
