I totally agree with this. Maybe the folks upstairs can add some more emoticons such as the "shrug", "innocent," "bored", "mischievous", "flirty", "gag," "content", and "ROFL".
How do you use emoticons from elsewhere? Sorry, I'm basically computer illiterate.
You can get them from various websites, just be careful, make sure the website doesn't download anything else on your computer, besides the "smilie" images. If you have a good anti-virus program, it should block items that do malicious things to your computer, like viruses.
When you download and save them on your computer (I'll send you a DM later today to show you how to save them on your computer) you can then upload them to a photo hosting web site, like Photobucket.com or sometimes Internet Service Providers give you some web space so you can build your own website, or store files and images. When you upload them to the site, they can now be viewed by everyone, but you have to post a link to the smilie images, enclosed in "[img]" and "[/img]" (without the double quotes). Example: [img]... URL/Link to the smilie image...[/img].
