Hello folks~ Manic Monday to ya!! Hope you have a great one!
Well, looks like I stumped 99.9% of you yesterday. We only had 1 correct answer... and that was from tyvin... way to go!!
The Question for Sunday was: For decades, scientists have debated whether or not this affects accident rates in this country. Now they believe that it lowers SAT scores. What’s presumably wreaking havoc on you?
The Answer: Daylight Saving Time!
It appears that these time changes might just muck up performance on the SAT, the U.S. college admissions exam, which is administered five times a year, including two dates that fall after daylight saving transitions. Using data from Indiana, where until recently individual counties could opt in or out of daylight saving, researchers found that scores in counties that changed their clocks were consistently 16.34 points - or 2% - lower than in counties that did not, they report online this month in the Journal of Neuroscience, Psychology, and Economics. That may not sound like a lot, but it may be enough to keep you out of your top choice for school.
By the way, a question on one recent version of the SAT asked students to assess the social impact of reality television -- to the horror of test-takers who aren't familiar with the pop culture phenomenon. Better brush up on your Snooki!
Nearly Impossible Question for Monday, March 21, 2011:
Analysis of cave paintings in Spain and Algeria has led some researchers to believe that human beings have been doing this for at least 6,000 years in Europe, and as many as 9,000 years elsewhere. They make reality TV shows about this today but what has man been up to for thousands and thousands of years? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Do you think it could be "making fire" ? just thinking is all. lol
There’s a clue with the wording of the question. I think it’s “cave” paintings. Might have something to do with mans first attempt to at interior designing and wall furnishings?
