Annoyingly I spent part of yesterday's Father's Day having a drain man come round trying to sort out a blockage. The block is not on our land and we're not sure where it is.

The yahoo rancher next to us chopped down a gazillion cedar trees a few months ago, and just left them where he cut them. Not only did he ugly up my view, but with the heat & wind we've been having I pray to God every day that a fire does not ignite over there, or a lot of people including us, will be in a world of hurt!
Tht's a good peeve Jezer. People neglect all kinds of things these days without thinking of others. For example, their children (nothing worse than that), their families, their health..an endless list.
I used to have a next door neighbor who never did any yard work or kept up his property. Finally, the city came and told him to clean it up or they would do it for him and send him the bill. He hired a gardener the next week.
