I have never rescued a 3 legged dog from a kill shelter and I a have always wanted to do something like that.
If you want to give a disabled dog a home, I'm sure there are some in the local shelters or rescues in the area. They might not be a three legged dog, but instead just be getting old and losing sight and hearing, or have some other disability from birth. It's strange that when there is a story of a dog being rescued from death there will be many people wanting the pet, but they seem to forget there are pets dying everyday because no one wants them. If you want to give a three legged dog a home, I could probably find you one. I still have some contacts at the shelter in the Omaha area, and they will even arrange transportation for the dog, for a very good home. Just something for you to think about for future reference.
Ok, I see this dog on my road, I'd never seen him before, he is an older Beagle. He is in the road near a house, and I figure he belongs to the idiot living there. There was no one home, normally I go up to the house to make sure the dog lives there. The next time I happen to see the dog, he has three legs. Obviously he was hit by a car and even though he is now disabled the moron owner lets him run. What chance will he have if he tries to escape injury next time. If murder were legal for a day, I'd be a busy boy.
Boiled Peanuts? I've never heard of them.. I've heard of raw, and roasted peanuts, but not boiled. LOL.. How do you boil peanuts? Let me guess.. very carefully??
