I've wanted for many years to visit Iowa, and I don't really know why. I saw Field of
Dreams twenty years ago, which is set in Iowa, but it was before that I first thought
of the place. I've got a mental image of enormous fields of crops as far as you can see,
and friendly farming type people, living in small towns. I visit America, but only Las Vegas
these days. I can't justify flying from England to see a lot of fields and crops!! My wife just
laughs at my little daydream when I can't really explain beyond what I've said why I want
to go.

I'm with you. My hubby and I drove through part of Iowa once. I loved the green fields and all the farmland. I love when nature hasn't become ruined by man

I’ve always had an urge to head west, until I visited the USA I had no idea why. Maybe I’m supposed to be there, as maybe, are you.
I've never lived in the USA.

Many years ago I took two weeks off here and flew to America. It was my first visit. I
just had a shoulder bag. I caught a bus in NYC and just headed out. I got as far as Ohio.
I loved the big old wooden houses with the swings on the porch and so much open land.
I always felt from when I was a kid small town American life was for me. Sadly I was'nt
born an American and have had to be content with just visiting.

That’s become a sad truth for many of us, and an expensive one.
Never have played a game of Scrabble... ...and I like words and reading....
Oh I love Scrabble but hubby won't play
