<*frantically waves hand in air*>

Theatre geek here !!!

How many Broadway Musical do you think you have seen (you did not have to see them on Broadway) ?

At least three dozen dozen, mostly on Broadway. I also own 50+/- original cast albums and a equal number of DVD/VHS movie musicals.

Which 3 were you all time favorites ?

A Chorus Line
Les Miserables
Chicago

Were you ever in any of your schools Musicals ?

Yes (Brigadoon) -- and I auditioned for the Broadway production of "Grease," about a million years ago. I didn't get the part ..... (I was also asked to audition for an X-rated musical, but I declined. )

If you ever want to know who was in a particular show, be sure to check out the Broadway Internet Database!

Extra Credit Question:

Who is the biggest procrastinator in your life ?

I'll have to get back to you on that one .....

Extra Credit Question:

Which of the shows in today in TV history did you watch

Milton Berle Show
No
Make Room for Daddy I don't think so
My Three Sons
My Favorite Martian (Ray Walston and Pamela Britton (Mrs. Lorelei Brown) were both Broadway veterans when they did this show.!)
Love American Style
McMillan and Wife It wasn't a favorite, but yes
Alice My father always loved this show, so the rest of us had to watch it, too
Cheers

Broadway Musicals Day
My poor students -- I'm going to be singing show tunes all day!

Today's Question(s):

it's Broadway Musicals Day
So lets talk about them

How many Broadway Musical do you think you have seen (you did not have to see them on Broadway) ? Probably around 50-60. I love 'em. Although, the funniest thing I ever saw on stage was at a local Jr. College that put on a performance of Agatha Christie's "The Mouse Trap." It took place in an old English manor. The actors were true Texas teens and listening to a Texan try to "do" an English accent was hilarious but the play was good, nonetheless.

Having said that, I have no business making fun of accents. My first language is English. My second in Spanish and my third is Farsi (very poorly spoken by me). For some reason I speak Farsi with a Spanish accent. So, Farsi speakers tell me that I sound like I'm from Mexico City. They've actually said that to me. lol

Which 3 were you all time favorites ?

West Side Story
Camelot
Phantom of the Opera

Were you ever in any of your schools Musicals ? We didn't have musicals in school. I'm surprised they even let us have a band.

Gosh can't believe it is Thursday, but Happy almost Friday to allyall

I am sure I am the biggest procrastinator especially if reruns from Make Room Daddy or Love American Style are on. I don't know anything about the Milton Berle Show, but I still catch some of the others on the Retro Channel.

Love and Peace

Musicals - now you're talking! Love 'em. I forget how many I've seen in London. Lets
see. I saw Lauren Bacall in Applause back in 1974. I've seen Michael Crawford in a few,
One called Billy in the mid 70s, and Phantom of the Opera when it first started in the mid
80s. I saw two a couple of years ago, Cabaret and Blood Brothers. On Broadway I've seen
A Chorus Line, Phantom, 42nd Street, Gypsy, The Woman in White, and The Producers.
In Las Vegas I saw Phantom and Jersey Boys. Procrastinator - I keep putting off decorating

Today's Question(s):

it's Broadway Musicals Day
So lets talk about them

How many Broadway Musical do you think you have seen (you did not have to see them on Broadway) ?
The only musical I have ever seen was Buddy (Buddy Holly). Do not know if it ever plyed on Broadway. It was a blast. Can I count the Blue Man Group? If so then I have seen 2.

Which 3 were you all time favorites ?
Will have to limit this to Buddy as that is the only one I have ever seen. If Blue Man Group also counts then add them to the list. I did get to meet the cast of Chicago in a bar in Anchorage. I suppose I should have went and seen them at the theater.

Were you ever in any of your schools Musicals ?
As I have said many times before, in most states it is against the law for me to sing in public. Since I am a law abiding citizen and have no desire to be arrested for being a public nuisance, I have refrained from participating such activities.

Extra Credit Question:

Who is the biggest procrastinator in your life ?
Normally I would say it is myself. However currently I am waiting for someone to get some documents together for me to sign. I can not plan ahead until that is taken care of.

Extra Credit Question:

Which of the shows in today in TV history did you watch

Milton Berle Show
Make Room for Daddy
My Three Sons XXX
My Favorite Martian XXX
Love American Style
McMillan and Wife XXX
Alice XXX
Cheers XXX

Out of the whole bunch, My Favorite Martian was the only one I really liked.
