Ever had anyone berate you for something you never said or did?.

It's strange how some people jump to conclusions, so today's peeve is just that;

People jumping to conclusions without checking the facts.

Yeah, I suspect we all could be guilty of this act at times...or been the target of such.

Jumping to a conclusion is lot easier on the knees than crawling to a conclusion!

Remember, there are some highly intuitive people out there who are well-capable of achieving that!

This is really annoying. I wish people gave a thought before believing in something...

OMG ... I was late submitting a grant report by a day or two. A few hours after I submitted the report, the foundation sent out a reminder to me and to the CEO of the agency.

Well ... He fires off this e-mail to the foundation saying how embarrassed he was that we didn't submit the report on time, and then demanded of me that he receive a copy of the report as soon as it was filed. Since it already had been filed, I was able to respond to his e-mail within 30 seconds.

But if he'd checked with me first instead of jumping to conclusions, then I wouldn't be the one who's really embarrassed!

Even if they do check the facts, some people still jump to the wrong conclusion...
