Good morning and a happy Saturday to all
. . . . . Didja Know?
In the United States, every 14 seconds someone loses, breaks or sits on a pair of sunglasses.

I hear that. I bought a great pair of sun glasses in Key West. Wore them one time and sat on them. Bummer!!!

Here's an idea. Maybe someone will invent some cheap breakaway glasses.

I did it with an expensive pair of sunclouds - was out showing property and decided to lean over the side of the boat to look at something in the water. SPLASH from that point on I've only bought inexpensive shades.

The only prescription pair I wear is an old pair of aviator's that the left lens pops out of every time I clean them. Time to get a new pair.

P.S.

Joy, just want you to know I literally fell asleep this morning while I was answering your QOTD. When I opened my lap top a few hours ago, it was on my edit page, 1/4 the way filled out. Some of my answers were too bizarre so I decided not to start over & finish it.

I guess I could of DM'ed this to you. hahahahahahahaahahaaaaaa

Wow,,,, after 45 years of wearing glasses now I’ve thought back and I’ve never broken or damaged any of them. I do have scratches on the newer ones that are made of light plastic lenses and treated for turning into sunglasses when needed. I wear them all the time except when I’m at the pc monitor. I need them to read or see down the street at a distance and they come in handing during the summer when the lady next door enjoys her backyard pool. lol

My silly hubby is so hard on glasses, I guess because of his work and his love of the out doors.

On his annual river trip with his buddies about 15 years ago, he left his glasses on a rock shelf in the middle of the Pecos river. They went back to that river about 5 years ago, and sure enough his glasses were still there!!!
