Good morning peevers.

Excellent news here- Miss J has been offered a place (conditional on her grades) to study French and Italian at university. The course and uni are her favoured choices so she is very excited.

That brings me to the POTD.

Seeing off, or leaving, friends or family for a short or long time.

A situation I know very well...
Sometimes, it's worth the sacrifice, because you get to live great things. Our family and friends are always there, in our hearts. And nowadays, with the internet etc, it's super easy to stay in touch!

Congratulations to Miss J. are in order. As much as it sad to see people leave, the options of keeping in touch are much better, than they used to be--but it is still hard when it is one of your children.

Sometimes.

Congratulations to Miss J !!! I hate when family has to go away even for a short time... but sometimes it just has to happen for someone to grow.

Congratulations to the honored student. She must be putting forth a lot of effort and it's nice to see it rewarded.
