I wouldn't want to win for this reason alone. I want people to like me for who I am, not what I can give them or do for them.

Sure, why not? A dollar and a dream.

I don't play very often anyway.

The first thing I would do is take care of my mother, so she could live the rest of her life out not having to worry anymore. I love that crazy old lady and she deserves some R & R. She would be my first priority. Plus she has always wanted to travel.

Yeah,,, $540 million! I’m trying to wrap my brain around that number. The easiest way to think of it is ~ it’s about two weeks of profit at Exxon Mobile.

McDonald's hasn't sold that many (540 million) hamburgers in a month nationwide. lol

If you won, you would now be considered in the 1% group instead of the 99ers, and you wouldn’t have to pay the same tax rate as the rest of us do.

I read about the odds of winning the lottery. I think that the odds of winning the Mega Millions is 1 in 176 million. I played the Powerball years ago, but I don't really buy lottery tickets anymore. In all honesty, I would rather live a normal life working two jobs than win a lottery and have everyone use me. OMG I would hate to see family members, long lost relatives, and people who didn't even care about me just use me because of the money. That alone is enough reason for me to not play.

Long lost relatives could "Kiss My Grits" as Flo would say........ You didn't know me when I was broke so what makes you think you would get to know me now and share in my wealth is what I would tell them. Call me a BI___H if you will but that's the way I feel when it comes to users.

I wonder how many celebrities will play it? I remember when that basketball player Oneal played 10k. Like he needs the money or does any good with the huge amount he has. What a joke.

Like Aksarben, I don't need a fortune, I wouldnt have a huge house even if I could. But when you have a lot you can really do so much to change people and animals lives, thats why I'd like to win it. Of course it would make the rough time now a walk in the park. And after having that guy steal so much from me something wonderful would be lovely. Its funny how some states have more winners than others.

Its nice to think about but seems impossible.
Just an average house, in South of France/Provence perhaps and helping animals in a sanctuary center.

I would probably have over 5,000 dogs. They deserve our help.

We only play when the jackpot gets huge. My dad even contacted me from his European vacation to ask me to buy tickets for him.
