Good morning, Kobber, and happy Tuesday to you! Sorry your day included the squish - yuck. But at least it's over for another year, and hopefully with good news, too.

Today’s Question:

Do you have any health/wellness-related errands to run today?

Nope, not today. I picked up a new pair of prescription sunglasses yesterday afternoon, though, so now I'll be able to see without squinting this summer.

Extra Credit Question :

Doris the Dating Fairy is going to set you up on a dinner date with a very famous ‘someone’. From which of the following categories would you most like Doris to pick your dining partner?

Author/writer
Politician
Religious leader
TV personality
Performance artist (musician, actor, dancer, etc)
Business leader
Medical expert
Chef
Other:

You know, this one is harder than you might think. I'm really not into "famous" as an attractive feature in others. I guess probably I'd most enjoy having a meal with a writer - Michael Perry by preference. And he's not particularly famous, or at least not outside the Midwestern US. But that's who I'd choose.

Bonus Question:

When was the last time you cleaned your computer screen?

Ha! Whenever my tech-goddess daughter was over here last and decided it was dirty.

What do you clean it with?

I don't clean it - she does. No idea what she uses.

Just for Fun:

How old is your oldest living relative?

I have an aunt (my mother's sister) in her early 90s.

How old is your youngest living relative?

The youngest I know of is my 7-year-old nephew. I probably have a few second and third cousins who are younger than that, but our family is so scattered that I've never met them.

Today in History:

No listing today – I couldn’t find enough entries that would be of general interest – most were very ho-hum. However, perhaps we should note that, on this day in 1997, a Baltimore man named John Bell received a new heart pacemaker. He was 115 years old at the time and had outlived the battery in his previous pacemaker, which was implanted when he was 104.

A wet tissue.

Just for Fun:

How old is your youngest living relative?

Good morning. Ouch Kobber...I'm glad that's over for you

Do you have any health/wellness-related errands to run today?
Just haircuts for my DH and I.

Doris the Dating Fairy is going to set you up on a dinner date with a very famous ‘someone’. From which of the following categories would you most like Doris to pick your dining partner?

Author/writer
Politician No way...I may go postal on them
Religious leader
TV personality
Performance artist (musician, actor, dancer, etc) Maybe Jackson Browne since he also lives off grid.
Business leader
Medical expert I hope not
Chef now that would be right up my alley but not one of the pompous ones

Other: I'd rather dine with my hubby and friends I'd also rather spend time with hard working down to earth people. I like farmer's and to have meal with an Amish family would be very cool

When was the last time you cleaned your computer screen? I did a quickie last week.

What do you clean it with? A microfiber cloth and water but the cloth had some furniture polish residue on it and it made my screen a little greasy. I grabbed the wrong cloth

How old is your oldest living relative? My grandmother will be 96 this year.

How old is your youngest living relative? My step granddaughter. She is 7. I imagine I have some other younger cousin's children's children floating around but I don't know any of them.

Xenophilia \ zen-uh-FIL-ee-uh \ , noun;
1. An attraction to foreign peoples, cultures, or customs.

I like that one.

Have a wonderful day!!!

Do you have any health/wellness-related errands to run today?
No, not errands, but I'm thinking of calling my health care provider.

Doris the Dating Fairy is going to set you up on a dinner date with a very famous ‘someone’. From which of the following categories would you most like Doris to pick your dining partner?

Author/writer
Politician
TV personality maybe
Performance artist (musician, actor, dancer, etc) possible
Business leader depends, possible
Medical expert
Chef
Other: That is, if I was not already married.
When was the last time you cleaned your computer screen? As a matter of fact, just yesterday.

Even cleaned the windows of my car last night. Must have been bitten by the "Cleaning Fairy".

What do you clean it with? One of those special wipes that you can use on
your eyeglasses too.

How old is your oldest living relative? Guessing late 70's-early 80's.

How old is your youngest living relative? My cousin's son is 5. She's also expecting in July. So those would be my closest two youngest relatives.
