I don't really hate anything that I have to do in my home. But I'm not fond of ironing either, Jezer. These days I iron a piece or two only as needed. The thing I did hate about ironing was the ironing board. I haven't had one of those big bulky ridiculous things in my home for decades. First I replaced it with a little table top board. Now I use a towel on the counter.
Yuck ironing. My mother used to make me iron all the clothes when I was growing up. Now I don't have clothes that need to be ironed
I have to take the area rugs outside this weekend and wash them. I also have to scrub down all the interior walls in the house from being closed up all winter. I am not looking forward to either chore.
Least favorite is dusting, thank goodness I don't have a lot of knick knacks!! I don't mind ironing, I did mind when my Mom was teaching me how, but now I never iron!!
I don't mind things that are satisfying when you see the results, like ironing...a wrinkled shirt turns into a pristine shirt, but I hate any kind of repetitive task with no real payoff, like dishwashing or folding and putting away laundry.
I don't mind ironing,,,, I learned to do it while in grade school with my sisters. Mom was busy working and we kids all took care of our own washing & ironing. It wasn't a problem, however I don't think I'd like to do it these days,,,,,,,,, I've gotten lazzzy
