Tuesday greetings, kids! Scroll on down for Today's Tip.
NO MORE STATIC
Lots of people use fabric softener or dryer sheets to reduce static electricity in their laundry. But did you know that these products strip towels of their absorbency? Also, the chemicals in dryer sheets post a threat to pets and you should avoid using them if you have a furry friend in your home.
I mentioned in a prior Tip that adding white vinegar to your wash can help soften and reduce static. But there's something else you can do. Tossing two new, clean tennis balls into your dryer will soften your clothes and towels and will get rid of static electricity. You can use the tennis balls over and over and they will continue to keep your laundry fluffy and static-free.
How cool is that?

Wife has been using this trick! But she claims to fluff up the clothes and keep separated. We still use softener in the washer and dryer sheets in the dryer. I'll have her try this next time. Vinegar in the washer she says makes clothes stink. But will try just balls in dryer maybe. I don't like what i've read about dryer sheets either . Thanks Pam!
