Happy Hump Day all!

Today's Question:
Have you ever had your day's plans thwarted by extreme weather conditions? I was planning lunch with a friend but she didn't want to drive from her town because of bad weather conditions, bad, unsafe driving conditions.

If so, tell us briefly why your plans were changed. see above^^

Bonus Question(s):
Which person are you?
a.) I take bags of groceries into the house in a number of trips of manageable loads.
b.) I try my hardest to take all my groceries into the house in one trip.

Just for Fun:
What kind of puzzles do you like to do:
Word puzzles (anagrams/crosswords/word-searches/ciphers, etc.)?
logic?
jigsaw?
mathematical (sudoku/Kakuro, etc.)?
mechanical (Rubik's Cube, etc.)?
other?

PatsCats;33232411]Mornin' all!

Today's Question:
Have you ever had your day's plans thwarted by extreme weather conditions?
It has to be REALLY dangerous outside for me not to keep my scheduled appointments.
If so, tell us briefly why your plans were changed.
During snow/sleet, I call before I leave my office to make sure my client's driveway is accessible and they are aware of our appointment. If not, I reschedule and move on to the next appointment of the day.
Bonus Question(s):
Which person are you?
a.) I take bags of groceries into the house in a number of trips of manageable loads.
b.) I try my hardest to take all my groceries into the house in one trip.
That's a thing of the past for me. Husband does all of that, and he's a wiz!
Just for Fun:
What kind of puzzles do you like to do:
Word puzzles (anagrams/crosswords/word-searches/ciphers, etc.)?
logic?
jigsaw?
mathematical (sudoku/Kakuro, etc.)?
mechanical (Rubik's Cube, etc.)?
other? No time for any of that. My work is an all-day puzzle, every day

Enjoy yourselves, everyone! And remember to, Keep Movin' !

Today's Question:
Have you ever had your day's plans thwarted by extreme weather conditions? Yes.

If so, tell us briefly why your plans were changed. A few years ago, I was supposed to go to my cousin's house for a Saturday mid-day Christmas party. However, it was raining really hard and I didn't want to drive (she lives about 18 miles from me), so I had to unfortunately call her to cancel.

Bonus Question(s):
Which person are you?
a.) I take bags of groceries into the house in a number of trips of manageable loads. <--This
b.) I try my hardest to take all my groceries into the house in one trip.

Just for Fun:

Word puzzles (anagrams/crosswords/word-searches/ciphers, etc.)? <--This
logic?
jigsaw?

other?

It's the camel's favorite day! I hope everyone has a good one.

Today's Question:
Have you ever had your day's plans thwarted by extreme weather conditions? Yes, many times.

If so, tell us briefly why your plans were changed. Many plans have been changed because of extreme weather, but the worst is my birthday plans. My bday is in early February, and more often than not my plans with family and/or friends have to be scrapped because of a snowstorm. Fortunately, that won't happen next week because my sister and I will be all cozy in a bed and breakfast in Michigan. We don't care what the weather's like because we'll be safe indoors by the fireplace.

Bonus Question(s):
Which person are you?
a.) I take bags of groceries into the house in a number of trips of manageable loads.
b.) I try my hardest to take all my groceries into the house in one trip. << Haha. This one. I practically break my back trying to carry too much stuff because I'm too stubborn to make multiple trips. Sometimes, though, multiple trips are necessary.

Just for Fun:
What kind of puzzles do you like to do:
Word puzzles (anagrams/crosswords/word-searches/ciphers, etc.)? I enjoy doing crosswords and word searches, though don't do them very often. I frequently play word games such as Scrabble and Word Whomp; love both of those.
logic?
jigsaw? I love doing jigsaw puzzles, but stopped doing them when I got my first cat. I've found it impossible to work on a jigsaw puzzle with a cat or cats in the house! The little stinkers won't leave the pieces alone.
mathematical (sudoku/Kakuro, etc.)? I hate working with numbers.
mechanical (Rubik's Cube, etc.)?
other?

Also spelled as honeyfugle.
Hey, that's a nifty word. I like the sound of it.

Freethinkers Day
National Puzzle Day
Seeing Eye Dog Day Neato! My boss has a seeing eye dog. Her name is Hope, and she's just around the corner from my office right now. I'll tell my boss that it's Seeing Eye Dog Day. We'll have to celebrate with some treats for Hope.
Thomas Paine Day ok.

Quote of the Day: "Music is an outburst of the soul." ~ Frederick Delius ~ That's a great way to describe it.

We're half way to the weekend everyone. Have a good day! Hump DAAAAYYYYYYY!

Today's Question:
Have you ever had your day's plans thwarted by extreme weather conditions?
Not that I can remember, I don't really tend to make plans in advance anyway but in any case weather isn't usually an obstacle.

If so, tell us briefly why your plans were changed.

Bonus Question(s):
Which person are you?
a.) I take bags of groceries into the house in a number of trips of manageable loads.
b.) I try my hardest to take all my groceries into the house in one trip.
If I'm shopping by myself I only buy enough that I can carry in one go anyway usually but when there's more I carry it in manageable loads

I like sudoku, and I enjoy helping my daughter with her jigsaw puzzles but don't like those ones with hundred/thousands of pieces, and logic puzzles are quite fun too

b.) I try my hardest to take all my groceries into the house in one trip.

Have you ever had your day's plans thwarted by extreme weather conditions?
Can't think of anything specific but we do get bad ice storms sometimes and get stuck inside for 3 or 4 days so that kind of puts a damper on any plans

It's finally starting to break out of the frigid temperatures here today, and into something still cold, but bearable. We're looking at highs in the upper teens for the day.

It's supposed to get into the 50s here today. Finally!

Onward...

Today's Question:
Have you ever had your day's plans thwarted by extreme weather conditions?
Oh yea. Many times.

If so, tell us briefly why your plans were changed.
A couple of winters ago, I had planned to travel from Albuquerque to west Texas via I-40 in January. I ended up spending a snowy night on the Interstate along with many other folks. A trucker was handing out canned Cokes and sandwiches to the kids. All we needed was a band and we would have had a party.

Bonus Question(s):
Which person are you?
a.) I take bags of groceries into the house in a number of trips of manageable loads. Since I normally only go to the grocery store once a month, I usually have too many bags to make one trip from the car.
b.) I try my hardest to take all my groceries into the house in one trip.

Just for Fun:
What kind of puzzles do you like to do:
Word puzzles (anagrams/crosswords/word-searches/ciphers, etc.)?
logic?
jigsaw?
mathematical (sudoku/Kakuro, etc.)?
mechanical (Rubik's Cube, etc.)? No doubt mechanical if I still worked puzzles. I figured out a Rubik's Cube many years ago but nowadays my puzzles consist of antique tractors or motor scooters that come to me in cardboard boxes. I love tools, both big and small.
other?

Happy Hump Day everyone!
