Today's Question:
Have you ever had your day's plans thwarted by extreme weather conditions?
Not that I can remember.

If so, tell us briefly why your plans were changed.

Bonus Question(s):
Which person are you?
a.) I take bags of groceries into the house in a number of trips of manageable loads.
This one, no way are you gonna be able to carry them in in 1 trip after The Super Chief shops especially at Costco.

b.) I try my hardest to take all my groceries into the house in one trip.

Just for Fun:
What kind of puzzles do you like to do:
Word puzzles (anagrams/crosswords/word-searches/ciphers, etc.)?
logic?
jigsaw?
mathematical (sudoku/Kakuro, etc.)?
mechanical (Rubik's Cube, etc.)?
other?
None, I'm just not a puzzle liking guy.

Mornin' all!

It's finally starting to break out of the frigid temperatures here today, and into something still cold, but bearable. We're looking at highs in the upper teens for the day.
Brrrrr... that's cold. The lowest we experienced this week was in the low 20's. It's getting warmer already!

Onward...

Today's Question:
Have you ever had your day's plans thwarted by extreme weather conditions?
Hmmm... no. Except when there was an extreme snow storm or hurricane. If needed - I had, and will drive in every weather condition (snow, rain, wind, thunderstorm, etc.). It will only take much longer...

If so, tell us briefly why your plans were changed.
Flight cancellation - and there is not much I can do about it, or hurricane coming or in progress.

Bonus Question(s):
Which person are you?
a.) I take bags of groceries into the house in a number of trips of manageable loads.
b.) I try my hardest to take all my groceries into the house in one trip.
Yep! I will try to merge smaller bags, and take them all together

Just for Fun:
What kind of puzzles do you like to do:
Word puzzles (anagrams/crosswords/word-searches/ciphers, etc.)?
logic?
jigsaw?
mathematical (sudoku/Kakuro, etc.)?
mechanical (Rubik's Cube, etc.)?
other?

I love puzzles and "mind" games!
I play all of the above + peg solitaire, connect the dots, sliding block puzzles, construction puzzles etc.
Computer puzzles like sokoban, connect the pipes, tetris, wheel of fortune...

Not just the day but the whole week. We were supposed to be up north with the boys skiing. Who wants to sit high on a chair lift when it's there's a 20 below wind chill???

If so, tell us briefly why your plans were changed.

We were supposed to go roller skating last Monday night but opted to stay home because of the cold. We're going skating tonight but it's way closer then the place we were supposed to go on Monday.

Thanks PatsCats. We're having a heat wave We need to go to Chicago to the salvage yard and find some hardware for our pocket door but parking is hard there and walking far in this weather and searching through endless bins of cold hardware in an unheated building doesn't sound like fun to me at the moment. I still have a lot of plastering and taping to do today before skating. More snow coming on Saturday and tomorrow. It's been a fantastic winter.

It's finally starting to break out of the frigid temperatures here today, and into something still cold, but bearable. We're looking at highs in the upper teens for the day. - I guess it's better than teens.. below zero..

Onward...

Today's Question:
Have you ever had your day's plans thwarted by extreme weather conditions? - One time I remember..

If so, tell us briefly why your plans were changed. - New Year's eve, December 31st, 1985, and New Year's day around Showlow, Arizona. It snowed and I got stuck there for an extra night.

Bonus Question(s):
Which person are you?
a.) I take bags of groceries into the house in a number of trips of manageable loads.
b.) I try my hardest to take all my groceries into the house in one trip.
I'd say both, depending on how many bags I have..

Just for Fun:
What kind of puzzles do you like to do: - Hmm.. I'm always puzzled by some of them..
Word puzzles (anagrams/crosswords/word-searches/ciphers, etc.)? - I think they get too wordy with those..
logic? - Just as long as it's not too logical...
jigsaw? - Jigsaw... I thought that was a Craftsman tool I bought at Sears a while back..
mathematical (sudoku/Kakuro, etc.)? - I'm good at math.. I know 2 plus 2 equals.. 5..
mechanical (Rubik's Cube, etc.)? - I remember those, and I tried them a few times..
other? - Hmm.. Trying to answer today's questions...

Might reach 20 here today, not counting windchill...

Today's Question:
Have you ever had your day's plans thwarted by extreme weather conditions?

Too much snow at the wrong time, led to appt. being cancelled.

Which person are you?
a.) I take bags of groceries into the house in a number of trips of manageable loads.
b.) I try my hardest to take all my groceries into the house in one trip. X

Today's Question:
Have you ever had your day's plans thwarted by extreme weather conditions? Yes on several occasions.

If so, tell us briefly why your plans were changed. Coastal living calls for being on hurricane alert in the summers, tornado alerts in the spring, and rare winter storms that seldom ever happen, but did as recently as yesterday, a winter storm that blanketed us in frozen white... and is still there today!

Bonus Question(s):
Which person are you?
a.) I take bags of groceries into the house in a number of trips of manageable loads. As much as possible in manageable loads
b.) I try my hardest to take all my groceries into the house in one trip.

Today's Question:
Have you ever had your day's plans thwarted by extreme weather conditions?
Yes.

If so, tell us briefly why your plans were changed.
I was scheduled for a medical procedure and the date had to be changed due to flooding in the area.

Bonus Question(s):
Which person are you?
a.) I take bags of groceries into the house in a number of trips of manageable loads.
b.) I try my hardest to take all my groceries into the house in one trip. And sometimes that is really funny because the car is in the garage and making two trips would not harm me in any way.

Today's Question:
