Currently I am exhausted, we had to run into town which is 25 miles but had to go to the other side of town which makes it 35 miles to get some errands done today.
We stopped for a bite to eat and I am stuffed and we just got home so I have a fresh brewed cup of coffee and I am going to sit for a few minutes and relax.
This story made me think a lot about people. How self-less some people are, despite their own hardships. This guy and this very cute Pomeranian (with a chow like haircut - so cute) goes around to nursing homes and assisted living places and tries to cheer up people. Many there have Demenia or Alzheimer's. Sadly, his own wife had it many years and is in the video. This good hearted guy himself has stage 4 cancer. Some people just have such a big heart for others and give to the very end. Most often ya never hear about the kind things people do, but sad as this story is, this sets a great example for others to follow.
We are having a tough day around here today trying to balance compassion with the business side of our lives and it is just heart wrenching and hard all the way around.
