Today’s Questions:
I have been a cleaning fool since we got back home so....

When was the last time you:
Cleaned under your bed? Last month
Washed your windows? Umm...I don't remember. About two months ago.
Shampooed any carpets? Last week (using aerosol spray spot cleaner)
Cleaned above your kitchen cabinets? N/A. They go all the way up to the ceiling.
Cleaned under your stove? N/A. It's a countertop stove.
Cleaned under your refrigerator? Last month
Cleaned inside your refrigerator? A couple of months ago
Did you find anything mysterious in your refrigerator, lol? No, but a few items were long past their prime.
Cleaned out your closet? It's been a long time. I keep it pretty well organized year-round, though.

Extra Credit Questions:
Do you know anyone who got caught up in a scam?
A friend of mine's husband got scammed by a shady investment advisor and lost a lot of money.
What company/person was it from?
It was an individual. I don't know his name, but he was taken to court and found guilty of fraud.
Have you ever had a fraudulent charge on your credit/debit card?
No, but a friend of mine had two computers charged to her account at a Wal-Mart in a city where she's never lived. The charges were made by phone. My friend disputed the charges. At first the credit card company insisted that the transaction was legit, but eventually they credited her back.
Do you want to share any scam/fraudulent safety tips with us? Please do
I never give cash to solicitors no matter how legitimate they seem to be. There have been some scams in my city involving young teenagers standing in front of grocery stores pretending to collect for the Boys and Girls Club. A local newspaper checked and learned that the Boys and Girls Club never ask for donations that way.

I also never do business with any telephone salespeople. I always explain that it's too risky to give personal or financial information out to strangers.

Bonus Questions:
Ugh....it’s International Hangover Day...
When was the last time you had a hangover?
Many years ago. I don't remember. Just for the sake of this question, I'll say 1979 after I had broken up with a boyfriend and was drowning my sorrows.
What drink caused the hangover?
About six or seven tequila sunrises. I lost count, and then I got very, very sick.
Have you ever had to work with a hangover?
Yes, the day after an office Christmas party when I was about 21. My boss took me out for some hair of the dog (a Brandy Alexander), and then I felt better.
How many times have you said “I will never drink again” after having a hangover, lol?
Never.
A few more since some people don’t drink...
When was the last time you felt giddy?
A few months ago.
Why were you giddy?
I was spinning around in an office chair.
Have you ever eaten anything that made you sick?
I had a bad reaction to some Mexican food about 10 years ago.
What was it and do you stay away from that food now?
I'm not sure whether it was the enchiladas or the pineapple juice, which could have been contaminated. Nobody I was with got sick, but they were all having beer or Margaritas. I still love Mexican food, though. In fact, Mr. Bay and I are going out for Mexican food tonight. . . just not to that restaurant. I've never been back.

The biggest thing to remember is unsolicited phone calls, emails, text messages and mailings could possibly be a scam. If you get an email with an offer or something that urgently needs to be clicked on, just type in the company's address or contact the company directly. NEVER click on links to provide info ... Even if you don't provide the info, the links could download spyware or viruses .... Also be wary of unusual emails from people you know asking you to go to a webpage or download a file. Often times, the email did not come from your friend but a hacker.

Bonus Questions:
Ugh....it’s International Hangover Day...
When was the last time you had a hangover? Never

Have you ever eaten anything that made you sick? A few times

What was it and do you stay away from that food now? Once was some pork tacos followed by key lime pie ... I got sick that night. My sister thinks it was the pork tacos that made me sick but because of this episode, I cannot handle key lime or lemon merigue pies no longer. I can stomach the pork tacos though...
