My first car was a 1964 Dodge station wagon that looked just like this one. It had been my mom's car.
It had push button gear shift, very weird. I lived in a really small town & could fit most of the sophmore class in my car. Only tried that once, I got grounded from my car for 2 weeks........

We stuffed 37 people in the English Teachers VW Bug one year......
I am still not sure why we thought that was a good idea.

I almost got to drive a VW once. A friend of mine gave me the keys to his VW so I could go to the store. After 10 minutes of trying to figure out how to get it in reverse I gave up and walked.

My first car was a '67 red mustang that I bought and paid for myself in '69... nothing "muscle" about it, but it was definitely my dream car at the time! Rather than repeat myself, I'll just provide the link about it I included in one of Jezer's peeves:

Nice cars everyone. I never like to talk too much about my old Camaro. I'd never stop and you'd think i was braggin'. The good thing is all the remakes of these cars still look great. Camaros, Mustangs, Chargers, Challengers, Cudas etc.
