Food...Cake...Yummy....All I can smell these couple of days in my home is Baumkuchen (tree cake).Every year around the holiday time or on a wedding or festive celebration I start baking these cakes. Baumkuchen making goes way back in my family and nowadays I bake them in large spring forms,layer by layer 16 layers or more at a time,decorate them and ship them off to family and friends all over the world as my gift. It is a tedious timely effort because I don't have the machine like the one in the video,but the recipe is the same,only made in spring forms that will fit perfectly in a large round tin box. Imagine how many tins I have to purchase
