So excited! My first QOTD of the New Year
On New Year’s Eve I found out there can be a plus to having an extended power outage starting at
8:15 - the firework displays look awesome Whole area was out/dark except for stars and some
amazing displays.

Hope the New Year is off to a great start for everyone and now let’s kick-off another weekend with . . . .

Today's Questions:

Another round of would you rather? (& feel free to expand on your answers )

Would you rather?

Walk on a beach or ski (or ride in a gondola) down a snowy mountain?

Have a pizza or a burger?

Listen to music on vinyl or a CD?

Watch a suspenseful movie or a comedy?

Bonus Questions:
Today's Bonus Questions were sent express delivery to Panama by our correspondent in Central
Arizona via a
carrier pigeon relay team

Cell phones, they make our lives easier . . . or so we think

If you had to call a close relative or friend, would you remember their phone number without looking it up
in the list of contacts on your cell/smart phone?

Do you know your own cell phone number?

Today in History:

1984 - Clara Peller first asks, "Where's the Beef?"
Spoiler

2012 - China surpasses Germany, becoming the. world's largest exporter
2012 - Justine Greening, the U.K. Secretary of State for Transport approves the HS2, a
high-speed rail line that will link major cities in the U.K. to London

2013 - A near-earth asteroid, called 99942 Apophis, passes close to Earth; astronomers in
Europe estimate 99942 Apophis is larger than previously thought

Have a pizza or a burger?
Burger. Well actually maybe I will have a pizza. I know, I will have a cheeseburger pizza.

Listen to music on vinyl or a CD?
CD.

Watch a suspenseful movie or a comedy?
I will take a low budget comedy

Not a chance.

Do you know your own cell phone number?
Nope. I have to look on the bathroom wall at work to find my phone number

A beach! I live for the water and swimming

Have a pizza or a burger?

Tonight, I am feeling a pizza, with sausage, mushroom, and extre cheese please.

Listen to music on vinyl or a CD?

Vinly, you cant duplicate that sound a vinyl gives. Gives the music some character

Watch a suspenseful movie or a comedy?

Tonight, feeling a comedy. Rough week at work.

hmmmm

If you had to call a close relative or friend, would you remember their phone number without looking it up I always wonder that. So I try to actually push the buttons like old school instead of just hitting contact
in the list of contacts on your cell/smart phone?

Do you know your own cell phone number?

Yeppers

Today in History:

1984 - Clara Peller first asks, "Where's the Beef?" Where is the beef?? That is what SHE said

Cool! I can imagine. I've seen meteor showers out in the country away from city lights. It's easy to see why early people were fascinated by the sky.

Today's Questions:
Would you rather?
Walk on a beach or ski (or ride in a gondola) down a snowy mountain? Never done the mountain, so would for the experience.
Have a pizza or a burger? Either, depends on the mood.
Listen to music on vinyl or a CD? CD more likely, but vinyl has its place.
Watch a suspenseful movie or a comedy? Comedy, always go for laughs.

Bonus Questions:
If you had to call a close relative or friend, would you remember their phone number without looking it up
in the list of contacts on your cell/smart phone? Some yes, some no.
Do you know your own cell phone number? Yes, I call myself all the time and have the most interesting conversations.

Have a good weekend, everyone!

Walk on a beach or ski (or ride in a gondola) down a snowy mountain? Walk on a beach as the sun is setting and it's just me and the dog. A ride in a gondola would be nice too.

Have a pizza or a burger? A REAL pizza...not that c__p from Pizza Hut or those other places.

Listen to music on vinyl or a CD? Vinyl.

Watch a suspenseful movie or a comedy? Suspenseful movie. Who wants to watch "Psycho," with me? Anthony Perkins was so good in that role......."MOTHER!"

Today's Questions:

Another round of would you rather? (& feel free to expand on your answers )

Would you rather?

Walk on a beach or ski (or ride in a gondola) down a snowy mountain?

Ski. There's a beach a few miles from here, but I rarely get the chance to go skiing.
Have a pizza or a burger?
It depends on the restaurant. I actually like both.
Listen to music on vinyl or a CD?
Right now our CD player isn't working, so I'll say vinyl. But the selection is rather limited, and a lot of our old records are mono.
Watch a suspenseful movie or a comedy?
Comedy, but I'd choose a really well-made suspense film over a lot of what passes for comedy these days.

Bonus Questions:
Today's Bonus Questions were sent express delivery to Panama by our correspondent in Central

Cell phones, they make our lives easier . . . or so we think

If you had to call a close relative or friend, would you remember their phone number without looking it up
in the list of contacts on your cell/smart phone?
No, I have to look everything up.

Do you know your own cell phone number?
Just barely. I've only had the number since July.

Thanks, JustJoy!

Beach. I don't function in cold.

Have a pizza or a burger?

Pizza.

Listen to music on vinyl or a CD?

I don't own any vinyl and I rarely listen to my CDs. People will cringe but I like digital. Convenient to access, zero physical space.

Watch a suspenseful movie or a comedy?

Suspense.

Not on my home land phone either!

Do you know your own cell phone number?
Not w/o looking it up first (on the phone) most of the time... definitely doesn't help that its area code is different than my home phone #, either!
