This may sound weird.. but try it.. Since I could see over the edge table standing as a kid I would make a skinny peanut butter sandwich no jelly.. semi-thick layer of peanut butter.. place in a bowl. Now pour hot Campbell's Vegetable Beef Soup over it.. let soak for a couple minutes and enjoy.. something about the melting peanut butter and soup... Italian Bread with a hearty crust is the best.. then only use 1 slice a husky inch thick with peanut butter only and only use creamy peanut butter.. excellent I still eat today..

Ha ha! Isn't that weird?
When we were kids, we would copy what others' bad habits are.

Yeah, we would just sit on the floor, holding up our foot and started chewing.
If I had a time machine and traveled back to that time, I think it will be a scene seeing 4 kids doing various yoga poses, chewing the toe nails.

I also bite my toenails. It's a habit that goes back to childhood. When it's hot outside and I'm wearing sandals I keep my toenails painted and sometimes it drives me crazy because I want to go at them so bad! I only bite them after bathing. Right now they're a lovely shade of blue and they're taunting me.

When I was growing up I had a gum collection on the side of our neighborhood Wal-Mart.

Hey, as long as you brush and floss. I'd probably break a tooth if I tried to bite a fingernail now. Kids have soft fingernails.

Since I've never been ashamed of anything I've ever done , being a proud shameless sociopath, how can I possibly contribute to this thread?

Once when I was in the 8th grade I got into my science class before anyone else and took the ink out of my pen and smeared it on the lenses of all the microscopes. Them kids sure looked funny after they looked thru them. The teacher suspected me of doing it since I was the only one without a blue ring around my eye.
