Good morning everyone
I was out running errands with a friend yesterday, she needed shoes for a "thing" she is going to and as we were looking she said "I like these but can't get open toes because I am wearing hose"
Which made me think "wow when was the last time I wore them" which then evolved for the idea for
Todays question:
When was the last time you wore a dress w/wo hose or a suit & tie (for you men) ?
Today in history:
February 22, 1879 1st 5 and 10 store opened by Frank W. Woolworth (Utica New York)
February 22, 1959 1st Daytona 500 auto race-Lee Petty wins (135.521 MPH)
Word of the day :
taciturn \TAS-uh-turn\, adjective:
Habitually silent; not inclined to talk.
Last time I wore a dress/heels/hose was for a traditional Navy dining-out(formal dinner) in January of 2005. I don't think I even own a dress anymore, as it is very casual where we live.
... "I like these but can't get open toes because I am wearing hose"... do you mean garters and nylon hose..wish Wife would wear em but she says they are too uncomfortable. When was the last time you wore a dress w/wo hose or a suit & tie (for you men) ?... last time I wore a suit and tie was to a winter funeral up in Massachusetts. I don't own suits anymore and have a high end leather jacket that I will not part with and wear as a sports jacket. Here in The Carolinas we dress casually...dressed up means shirt and shoes Today in history:
February 22, 1959 1st Daytona 500 auto race-Lee Petty wins (135.521 MPH) I knew that, after all I live in NASCAR country! taciturn \TAS-uh-turn\, adjective:
Habitually silent; not inclined to talk.
Well this would not be me ...me either ...but it fits Auntie Batz
Golf in America Day (First demonstrated 1888)[/quote]...GO TIGER!!!!!
Wow, I was at wedding in Vegas last summer and that was pretty casual, heels no hose. I work from home so I don't have to get dressed forget "dressed up"! I live in a casual place so it's always a treat to see someone looking formal.

Well, I don't wear dresses (thank God) and the last time I wore a suit and tie was.. hmmm.. for a job interview 4 years ago. I'm a business casual type of guy, and I don't wear suits too often, especially in the summer here.
