to the Questions of the Day for Sunday October 16, 2016. As a Libra born on October 16th, your personality is dominated by your social and analytical nature. Although you are quite comfortable on your own, you would much rather prefer the company of others. In social settings your mind seems to come alive, as you provide thoughtful and clever thoughts to the group. Today's celeb birthdays of note are Suzanne Somers, 69 and Angela Lansbury, 90, plus a bunch of others I've never heard of.

Hope your weather is turning for the better, are you happy with it?

Off to the races, bye bye.Have you ever been to:
A horse race?
A NASCAR race?
A Indy 500 race?
A Marathon?
Sack race?
A race to the bathroom?
Other?

What type of jewelry do you usually wear:

Wedding ring?
Engagement ring?
Earrings?
Necklace/chain?
Bracelet?
Toe ring?
Other?

Do you remember these phrases, or do you still use them:
Groovy?
Far out?
Can you dig it?
Right on dude?
Other?

What about these ditties, remember them?
Yankee Doodle Dandy?
Row Row, Row your Boat?
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star?
London Bridges Falling Down?
One Two Buckle My Shoe?
Any other that was a favorite(s)?

Besides a dog or cat, is there a pet you now have or would like to have?

Mikey mentioned to his mom that he was soon leaving to go to Switzerland.
"Switzerland" his mom said looking puzzled. "Why in the devil do you want to got there."
"Because mom I want to see what the Swiss Army does with all those little knives".

Hope your weather is turning for the better, are you happy with it? I'm not sure what season it is anymore.

Off to the races, bye bye.Have you ever been to:
A horse race? Watch the derby every year . . . on TV.
A NASCAR race? Rednecks turning left all day.
A Indy 500 race? Ditto.
A Marathon? Was a candy bar years ago.
Sack race?
A race to the bathroom?
Other? Footraces

What type of jewelry do you usually wear:

Wedding ring?
Engagement ring? Not me.
Earrings?
Necklace/chain?
Bracelet?
Toe ring?
Other? Mood ring? Not!

Do you remember these phrases, or do you still use them:
Groovy? When joshing around on City-Data.
Far out? Ditto.
Can you dig it? With a shovel.
Right on dude? Right on.
Other? Cool, man, cool.

What about these ditties, remember them?
Yankee Doodle Dandy? Put a feather in his cap.
Row Row, Row your Boat? Gently down the stream.
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star? How I wonder why we say the alphabet to this tune.
London Bridges Falling Down? Isn't that in AZ now?
One Two Buckle My Shoe? 3, 4 close the door.
Any other that was a favorite(s)?
Little Jack Horner sat in a corner eating little Miss Muffet's curds and whey. Miss Muffet got Little Jack's plum pie from him, ya know.

Besides a dog or cat, is there a pet you now have or would like to have? Wouldn't mind having a horse or two, but not likely to be practical.

Quotable quote of the moment:
If a cluttered desk is the sign of a cluttered mind, what is the significance of a clean desk? Laurence J. Peter A lack of imagination?

Well folks that's it for this set of Sunday's Questions for the day. Hope you enjoyed them. As usual all items true or false were run by and approved by the law firm of Snappy, Krackled, and Pooped.
That reminds me to pick up some Rice Krispies.

Enjoy the day, "thank you" for participating. Don't mention it.

Travel time again. Leaving the land of loons in MN today and heading for the dry heat of AZ arriving Friday. Bye Bye... Drive safely, now, ya hear?

If I say any of the above, it would be only in an ironic or humorous manner. Mr. Bay, on the other hand, is stuck in the 1950s. He still says things like "neat".

I love dogs and wish we could have one, but we haven't got the right kind of environment.

Thanks, wit-nit. Have a safe and pleasant trip!

The evenings have been wonderfully cool (50-60 lows) and the days have been in the 80s but there are a few days next week that are predicted to be in the 90s again, then drop to 70 highs w/lows all the way down into the 40s (brrr) for a few days, then back to the 80s/50s, so its a roller coaster ride weather-wise, just trying to keep up w/it!

Hope your weather is turning for the better, are you happy with it? Not keen on Autumn: it's all decay and end-of-life. Although the sunsets/rises, are quite spectacular.

Off to the races, bye bye.Have you ever been to:
A horse race? Not a fan
A NASCAR race? We don't have that in this country: but the M25 motorway is probably pretty close
A Indy 500 race? We don't have that here either. But we do things by formulas. F1 being the big one. And that's boring as watching gloss paint dry inside a fridge with the light off.

A Marathon? Shedloads! I run marathons myself. Many years ago I used to eat Marathon chocolate bars, until some faceless corporation got its grubby hands on it and turned it into "Snickers" I mean, good grief, what kind of name is that for a chocolate bar!!??

Sack race? Did that at school, but then it was banned due to Health & Safety and the whole compensation culture. I think someone got sacked for that, ha!

A race to the bathroom? I live alone so I don't have to race anyone

What type of jewelry do you usually wear:
Wedding ring? I am unweddable, lol. So no.
Engagement ring? The only time I'm engaged is when I'm on the moby, lol
Earrings? Yes, sometimes
Necklace/chain? That too
Bracelet? That too too
Toe ring? That toe, ha! (actually no, because toes deserve to be treated better than being banded)
Other? Belly button! OUCH!!!

Do you remember these phrases, or do you still use them:
Groovy? Not so much, unless I'm watching Evil Dead 2
Far out? Never.
Can you dig it? OMG no!
Right on dude? .
Other? No comment:tape:

What about these ditties, remember them?
Yankee Doodle Dandy? Nope
Row Row, Row your Boat? Gently down the stream. Yes, and I still hum that for some odd reason
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star? Probably how I got into astronomy years ago
London Bridges Falling Down? There will be a compensation claim soon!
One Two Buckle My Shoe? 3, 4 Don't remember that one
Any other that was a favorite(s)?
Jack & Jill went up the hill to ..... well, you know... get to know each other..... oops, wrong version!

Besides a dog or cat, is there a pet you now have or would like to have? Tropical fish. They don't say much, and they don't go far despite putting them all on a lead and taking them for a walk down the road.
Quotable quote of the moment:
If a cluttered desk is the sign of a cluttered mind, what is the significance of a clean desk? Laurence J. Peter Clean desk? What's that then!?

Well folks that's it for this set of Sunday's Questions for the day. Hope you enjoyed them. As usual all items true or false were run by and approved by the law firm of Snappy, Krackled, and Pooped.
Ah, breakfast beckons

Excellent questions. Thank you
