Good morning all and I am sorry for the late start. Things have been slipping my mind lately. I must be getting old I hope all of our friends on the Texas coast are doing OK this morning.

Today’s Questions:
When was the last time you tried something new?

What was it and how did you like it?

Have you ever adopted a pet?

Have you volunteered for anything lately?

What?

Extra Credit Questions:
Would you rather be completely insane and know that you are insane or completely insane and believe you are sane?

Would you rather know all the mysteries of the universe or know every outcome of every choice you make?

Would you rather be the life of the party and the funniest person your friends know but suffer from depression or be happy and content but people think you are boring and unfunny?

Would you rather eat your favorite meal for every meal for the rest of your life or never be able to eat your favorite meal again?

Would you rather own your own boat or your own island?

Would you rather spend one year sailing around the world or one year living in your foreign favorite country?

Would you rather take a trip down the Amazon River or walk the Great Wall of China?

Would you rather live as a vegan for a month or only be able to eat meat and dairy for a month?

Bonus Questions:
What is the most annoying habit someone can have?

What is the most annoying habit you have?

Where is the most beautiful place you have been?

Where do you spend most of your free time / day?

Who was your best friend in elementary school?

How often do you stay up past 3 a.m.?

What’s your favorite season? Why?

Today’s Questions:
When was the last time you tried something new?

couple of weeks ago-new recipe, which I almost followed.

What was it and how did you like it?

it was pretty good. If/when I make it again, I'll use less butter.

Have you ever adopted a pet?

sure. all my critters were adopted. except the hamsters I had years ago.

Have you volunteered for anything lately?

not really. should but too lazy.

Extra Credit Questions:
Would you rather be completely insane and know that you are insane or completely insane and believe you are sane?

If I believe I'm sane, I must be. It's every one else who are crazy. Honest!

Would you rather know all the mysteries of the universe or know every outcome of every choice you make?

I don't think I could handle all that knowledge. Just let me know the next winning powerball number and let the other mysteries remain mysteries.

Would you rather be the life of the party and the funniest person your friends know but suffer from depression or be happy and content but people think you are boring and unfunny?

happy and content. Nothing wrong with being boring and unfunny.

Would you rather eat your favorite meal for every meal for the rest of your life or never be able to eat your favorite meal again?

Actually closer to never being able to eat my favorite meal again. That's ok-I'll just get a new favorite meal. So much food, so little time.

Would you rather own your own boat or your own island?

tough decision but I'll go with the boat.

Would you rather spend one year sailing around the world or one year living in your foreign favorite country?

a year living in my favorite foreign country.

Would you rather take a trip down the Amazon River or walk the Great Wall of China?

too many bugs in the Amazon so it'd have to be the Great Wall. wait-how tall is that wall?

Would you rather live as a vegan for a month or only be able to eat meat and dairy for a month?

vegan. closing in on that anyway.

Bonus Questions:
What is the most annoying habit someone can have?

judging others

What is the most annoying habit you have?

probably being a bit too direct sometimes.

Where is the most beautiful place you have been?

too many to name one. I will say it'd be outside, not in a building.

Where do you spend most of your free time / day?

outside weather permitting. Gotten to be a woos about being out in rain and such.

Who was your best friend in elementary school?

I think it was the T-Rex.

How often do you stay up past 3 a.m.?

almost never but I usually wake up at 2AM so I'm awake at 3.

What’s your favorite season? Why?

autumn-it's beautiful, nice temps, low humidity, fewer bugs, and the leaves are changing colors.

What animal or insect do you wish humans could eradicate?

I think we've gotten rid of enough.

Good afternoon all from sunny England....... it won't last...... On to the questions.

When was the last thing I tried something new? I don't do new........ I think I have tried all the different things I have ever wanted, or needed to do by this stage in my life. I am now officially stick in the mud.

I have adopted a pet. Many years ago I worked at a place that was closing down. There was a factory cat called Murphy. The factory was in the middle of a valley, and the talk was of just putting Murphy outside, and locking the gates. I took Murphy home, and looked after her for the rest of her life. She was a lovely white cat, and I still have her photo in a family album.

We also adopted another cat called Mitzi. We moved into a house in 1994, and Mitzi lived four doors down. She decided she liked the look of us, and spent time in our garden. We gave her bits of food, and before we knew it, we were letting her in the house when it rained. She decided she liked the look of the place, and started sitting on our front window sill. Judy and I would be watching the telly, and if we glanced over at the large window, Mitzi would open her mouth in a silent meow. The neighbour who owned her, accepted the inevitable when Mitzi stopped going home, and allowed us to keep her. She owned another cat, and I don't think Mitzi liked it much......

If the choice was one year sailing round the world, or spending a year in my favourite foreign country, I would take the latter. I would spend a year in America, and stay in a nice bungalow in Las Vegas. Sometime during the year, I would visit Iowa, and see the corn.......

My own boat, or island? It would be an island. A very nice island......... I would invite Raquel Welch to come and visit it..........

Judy thinks my most annoying habit is I always think I'm right. I don't think I am always right....... I am always right. Except one time in 1972 of course.

I don't ever stay up past 3am, but I am often getting out of bed at 3am. I am to be found many a time sat in my lounge waiting for dawn to arrive. I pass the time answering e-mails to an American friend, and posting here in city-data. I am at my most argumentative in the middle of the night, and like to visit the Politics section.........plus the UK section if we're talking Brexit, which isn't much at the moment.

Thanks for the great questions Lisa. Too many for me to answer sadly. Have a great day all......

Today’s Questions:
When was the last time you tried something new? All I can think of is that I'm cooking for my grandson's birthday this morning and decided to try a new salad. I hope it's good. It looks good.... Why do I do this?

Have you ever adopted a pet? Every pet I've ever had except one dog.

Have you volunteered for anything lately? Volunteered to cook for Bubby's birthday party today. He'll be five.

Extra Credit Questions:

Would you rather know all the mysteries of the universe or know every outcome of every choice you make?

Would you rather eat your favorite meal for every meal for the rest of your life or never be able to eat your favorite meal again?

Would you rather own your own boat or your own island? Tell me more about this island.....

Would you rather spend one year sailing around the world or one year living in your foreign favorite country or maybe a year sailing around the world and stop in different countries.

Would you rather take a trip down the Amazon River or walk the Great Wall of China?

Would you rather live as a vegan for a month or only be able to eat meat and dairy for a month?

Bonus Questions:
What is the most annoying habit someone can have? Smoking or maybe constantly looking at your phone , ignoring the people around them.

What is the most annoying habit you have? Me? Annoying? I don't know. Ask my family and friends.

Where is the most beautiful place you have been? Maybe Saint Gaudens.

Where do you spend most of your free time / day? Depends on the season, day of the week. It's the start of the school year and I am tired at the end of the day, so you'll find me sitting at the end of the day, maybe napping!

Who was your best friend in elementary school? Lucille

How often do you stay up past 3 a.m.? Often during the summer

What’s your favorite season? Why? Spring... Every thing is growing, lots of people out and about enjoying the sunshine and warmer temps.

Today’s Questions:
When was the last time you tried something new?
-
Current job 9 months ago which was a big mistake. Not easy making a move out at my age. I tried...

What was it and how did you like it? ^

Have you volunteered for anything lately? - Blood donation 2 weeks ago.

What? ^

Extra Credit Questions:

Would you rather be the life of the party and the funniest person your friends know but suffer from depression or be happy and content but people think you are boring and unfunny? - I'm a loner (but don't want to be) so either N/A or happy and content.

Would you rather eat your favorite meal for every meal for the rest of your life or never be able to eat your favorite meal again? - Definitely the latter. But I really don't know what meal that would be...

Would you rather own your own boat or your own island? - Island would be worth more money.

Would you rather spend one year sailing around the world or one year living in your foreign favorite country? - Country. Only a few choices I can think of with Canada being at the top of my list.

Would you rather take a trip down the Amazon River or walk the Great Wall of China? - Hmmmm

Would you rather live as a vegan for a month or only be able to eat meat and dairy for a month?

Today’s Questions:
When was the last time you tried something new?

I tried the new movie theater a few minutes from my house. Now I don't have to go all the way to the mall whenever I want to see a movie.

What was it and how did you like it?

I didn't care for it. I like the one at the mall better but it's not a big deal for the sake of convenience.

Have you ever adopted a pet?

Yes.

Have you volunteered for anything lately?

No. Now I feel selfish.

What?

Extra Credit Questions:
Would you rather be completely insane and know that you are insane or completely insane and believe you are sane?

Insane and know it. I go there sometimes.

Would you rather know all the mysteries of the universe or know every outcome of every choice you make?

Neither really.

[quote=ylisa7;49317969]Good morning all and I am sorry for the late start. Things have been slipping my mind lately. I must be getting old I hope all of our friends on the Texas coast are doing OK this morning.

Today’s Questions:
When was the last time you tried something new? Yesterday I tried a new primer (makeup sample). Spending money on face creams and potions is my downfall.....but maybe it's worth it.

What was it and how did you like it? It glided on smoothly, and I loved it! I'm ordering it today.

Have you ever adopted a pet? No, pet time is over for us. After having all kinds of pets in our younger days when we had a large farm, we're done.

Have you volunteered for anything lately? Don't know if I volunteered, but I was asked to do another appraiser's job because he was unavailable. I didn't have to, but I said I'd take the time to do it (for peanuts). However, it was for a Veteran, and I always try to help out.

What? See above.

Extra Credit Questions:
Would you rather be completely insane and know that you are insane or completely insane and believe you are sane? Too depressing for me to think about.

Would you rather know all the mysteries of the universe or know every outcome of every choice you make? No opinion.
