Good morning everyone
Starting the thread early because we are headed on a road trip.
Our 2 dogs (especially Lola) really miss their buddy Clue. Lola tries to get the greyhound to play with her like Clue use to, but she keeps giving her that "I am a couch potato and 12 yr old, leave me be " look
So My karla and I oh yeah & Lola are driving down to take a look at some rescue "puppies" that really need a home. There are 2 that we are very interested in. lol the folks on our exercise thread have "decided" we need both
I am just glad that we are in the situation that we can provide a loving and very spoiled home for a "puppy" in need. Clue would want us to share the love he received with with one of his furry friends.

Well yesterday I was talking with a friend and when I mentioned something they said "wow really I would of never guessed" so it gave me the idea for

Todays fill in the blank Question:

Yeah I know it is weird, but I _________?

Today in history:

March 15, 1892 1st escalator patented by inventor Jesse W. Reno (New York City)
March 15, 1897 1st indoor fly casting tournament opens, at Madison Square Garden makes you wonder who many "snagged a really big one" ie other casters

Word of the day:

sojourn \SOH-juhrn; so-JURN\, intransitive verb:
1. To stay as a temporary resident; to dwell for a time.
noun:
1. A temporary stay.

Today is:

National Peeps day
Market Street Books at Arts & Letters Community Center
and
National True Confessions Day

Yeah, I know it is weird, but I can't get to sleep until all three of my dogs are in bed with me snoozing.

Ditto above. Everyone have a great weekend.

I know it is weird buteveryday when I unplug my straight iron, I have to physically say "unplugged" otherwise once I leave, I will be driving myself crazy whether or not I actually unplugged it, and I will be thinking the house is going to burn down!

Ok, wait for it, because I have been trying to think of something weird...... it'll come to me, cuz you know I am weird like that..

I bet what I need to do is ask someone else about something weird I do, and they will come right out with it, because I probably don't think it is weird!

I'll ask the cats!

I know it's weird but I just can't watch horror movies b/c at night I think the actors will come visit me.

Ditto on the "unplugged" thing, mrshvo! I always have to put the iron into the wardrobe cabinet to be sure it can't burn anything.

Yeah I know it is weird, but as Im getting out of the car, I put my keys in my purse.
Before I can shut the door, I have to check my purse to make sure the keys are
there. I guess this rooted from living in NYC and being afraid of getting locked out of
my car. Several times I noticed that if I carry my keys, I will look in my hands to make
sure the keys are with me. Weird!
