I must become more skeptical. So many things everybody "knows is true" end up not being true at all.
I wondered if "prime time" would be a point of contention. Ed Sullivan was mighty popular...but he was on Sunday night, as I recall. Does Sunday night qualify, or only weeknights?

I'm so old I remember helping Santa put together a bike, late on Christmas Eve, that us elves obviously didn't know was going to come in a box, not ready to go.

OK I was Santa, and the elves were no help at all, they went to bed after she had a nice glass of wine, stating that "I am going to get woke up in about three hours you know"

Good times, good times

I remember washing the "bags" of our guernsey cows, then "hand milking" them....morning and night. We had a small herd of cows, compared to surrounding farmers, only 22. That was part of my teenage duties. I've hated milk ever since!

I remember when as a young kid sitting with my pet hen on the nest and when she would stand up to push out her egg I could catch it in my hand still wet....

Yeah! I'm so old I remember when I could actually find a shoe repair that didn't look at me like I was crazy because I wanted to fix my old favorite shoes instead of ditching them for new ones.
