I wear mine when I go someplace, on my left wrist. I should wear a 'work' watch when I am working in the yard, but never think to put it on. :-(
I always pull the stem to the out position when I put a work watch away. I just checked both of them, and the batteries are dead. :-(
My 'town' watch stays in my purse when I am not wearing it.
Yup, I do wear one, sometimes two, just 'because'. Actually I have a dual-time watch so as to know central time as well as my own. On my left wrist. Even though Im left handed, its just easier to take off and put on.
I'm hard on watches. I'm always catching them on things and breaking the band. I finally quit wearing one about 3 mos ago when the band broke. I'm right handed wore it on left hand.
Shoo Fly Pie, if you have never enjoyed that wonderful treat get yourself to Lancaster Pa today. Have some ice cream with it.
I haven't worn a watch since I retired
the reason I asked about which wrist is because I am right handed and use to wear mine on my right wrist which everyone thought was strange
I found it easier to just turn my wrist while I was working if I needed to check the time
the watch I did wear was my dive watch, the turning bezel was perfect for checking time while on break
I also have a couple of really nice watches tucked away somewhere
lol there are one or 2 dress watches with those tiny faces that with my "arms have gotten too short" eyes I wouldn't be able to see the time anyway
Do you wear a watch ?
It's been a long time since i wore a watch, I have a bunch of them but when i wore one I was always looking at it while at work, it made the day go very slow, now days there are clocks every where and I don't feel like having one on my wrist.
I neither own nor wear a watch. Haven't in nearly 35 years. It was something I had to take off for gardening, before swimming, before washing dishes, before showering and I had to remember to wind it every day. I found it was too frail for my lifestyle. I learned to tell time by the position of the sun when outdoors. Otherwise, there is a clock just about everywhere nowadays - in the car, in businesses, on cell phones, computers, TV, microwaves and ranges. In some areas, you can call a phone number and a computer voice will tell you the time and current temperature. Sheesh.
I don't wear a watch much anymore. I use to always wear one, although oddly enough I would go through phases as to which wrist I wore it on. Several years on the left wrist, then the next several on the right. Also I never wore them in the correct position. I always wore them upside down. (The buckle/clasp was always on the top of my wrist. So I would have to turn my wrist to see what time it was. I don't really know why. It was just more comfortable to me. )
