Drug companies that advertise their product and tell you to ask your doctor about it but don't tell you what it treats.

Drug companies that tell you to let your doctor know if you have ________ before you use their product. I thought the doctor was supposed to tell me what I have.

Ive heard of doctors prescribing yeast infection meds if you have a fungus under a toenail. About 1/5th the cost of the 'other' stuff and works just as well, just as fast.
Then again, who would have thought cayanne pepper is good for high blood pressure, but you should talk to your dr before relying on it too much.

How about doctors that prescribe you see a specialist cuz he doesn't specialize in that thing you got. Didn't they go to school for learning those things.
I beleive it's the doctor who tells the other doctors, I got my insurance $$ share, nows your turn to get yours.

Heck, I remember when doctors made house calls, gave you a shot of pennicillian, charged a few bucks and a few days later you were cured.

Insurance and government help did away with that....now they spend all their time jumping through hoops for medicare and insurance companies instead of practicing medicine.

good morning AliceT and everyone

As usual another good one this morning

Also Doctors who "push" a certain companies meds because they have been "courted" by the company
and
why do Doctors schedule appointments with these salespeople during office hours to see sick folks. If I am not feeling good I don't want to have to wait in the waiting room with other sick people while you meet with them.
Schedule them after office hours

to add
Why do you have to go to your Doctor to get a referral to see a specialist
Do you call in the electrician to get a referral for a plumber
not to mentions having to pay the office visit fee to do this ahhhh wait I think I just answered the why.
