I used to wear a name tag when I was an airline employee. It managed to make it through the wash a few times with no problem. The wings; not
so much. Apparently little kids aren't the only ones who get the cheapo plastic version! I think they made ours out of a composite plastic/tin or something & then covered it with a metallic coating. That came off on everything & looked like gold confetti in the washer.

My pantry has a lot of pasta. I haven't exactly figured out how to shop for one just yet. Maybe I'll see if Alice wants to unload
some of that hooch she's got - we'll have a dinner party!

My Royal Title: The only thing that comes to mind is: Royal Pain in the A!!

Cheese Doodles yay or nay - used in light doses, they make great dog training treats!

Today's Question(s):
When was the last time you wore a name tag ? Last year at spouses school re-union.
Have you ever forgotten to take it off before throwing your shirt in the wash ? No, comes off as soon as I leave whereever I'm at.

Bonus Question:
Is there anything in your freezer or pantry that you have so much of, that you won't have to buy it for awhile ? No pantry. And cupboards are like Mother Hubbards.

Extra Credit Question:
The "Royalty Fairy" is going to bestow upon you a Royal Title for the day
Which title would you chose ? Earl. Cuz I just like the name Earl.

Just for Fun:
Cheese Doodles yay or nay. Only if offered some, too airy. Love Cheez-its though.

(Our tommy toes are setting fruit right now)

I've taken the regular and mixed in some other things after it is cooked, like brown sugar and cinnamon, Maple Syrup and raisins, Strawberry Jam, or even yogurt of various flavors. You can use up that plain stuff and make your own flavors that you can't buy in the store. I suppose you could even put in a little BBQ sauce or Italian dressing if you like (but that's not going to happen in my bowl).

Hey all
well school went great
Hubby helped with the bottles and we were done in maybe 15 mins lol his only request is next time I was them out and let them dry first I guess he wasn't real thrilled with diet pepsi all over the band saw.

The kids really enjoyed the project
We used ivy & jade plant cuttings
For those that want to try this with their kids
Take a 2 liter bottle remove the label, then cut it in half about 4 or 5" from the bottom
Put in 1/2 " of gravel then potting soil almost to the top of the bottom piece
Put your seeds or plant cuttings in the soil then carefully put the other half back on
You can either have it on the outside or inside
You shouldn't have to water it often but when you do just unscrew the top and sprinkle in some water.

You can also use well washed gallon milk bottles

ok here are a few pictures of the new door process

See how nice the plywood looks in the house it does make a great dog blocker though

you can see the old front door in the back

Lola found it gave her a birds eye view

It was a little nippy once the old door was removed

New door just waiting for paint they put new trim around the door so that will be painted too

view from the outside
need some stucco repair and paint

See why I am thinking a mossy or khaki green might look nice with the house paint
