The real me spent way too much time in big cities, being victimized by crime and criminals and being duped by the unscrupulous dirt bags that impersonate regular people.

As a result...

My hangout is my home. And it is set up for me and me alone. I do not invite anyone to my house as I do not want my dogs to get to know anyone. I do everything I can to prove that I am not mobility challenged, but never lose sight of the fact that I am. If people don't know what my weaknesses are, they can never know I am vulnerable.

Tell people where I live? Narrowed down to a specific city? Tell when I am available? Hours I sleep? Meet my dogs? Come to my house? NEVER!

On here, I am invincible. On here, I hide behind the shield of my computer and an attitude to match and dare any and all to *Go ahead. Make my day!*

They're pretty much about the same. I don't know why I would want an alter ego. My own self is scary enough. Besides, case substitute wouldn't be the same.

So the next time you look at your computer screen and see my username, just picture a rugged Texas six-footer with a graying, brown buzz haircut, glasses, and face like a potato. I'd be hard to miss.

IRL I'm shy in crowded situations. I get nervous if I'm visiting people and stay over an hour.
But I'm very warm, out going, kind, generous. In general situations, grocery store, well out in public, I'll chat, smile, feel great and keep moving on. I think that the shy and stay to long bit is because I find it very difficult to just sit still. Even at home I have to be moving about.
Time for a shrink ??? LOL when I've been invited as a guest to parties or back yard get togethers...I start serving food or drinks. Clean up crew not needed. Gee now I have to wonder if I drive others nuts?? Oh did I add maybe paranoid???

IRL I am more or less the same. Only I am a little anti social. But then again I think I am that way as well here. I am 27, so I suspect I am younger than most folks here. My lifestyle is way different than most folks here. But I always feel like a part of all of you.

LOL... Good one Charley... and I'm louder in person!

I'm the same way, I've never been the pretentious type. The person you see on City Data, is exactly what you get in real life.
