Every few years the government will bust a large spam group and my junk mail subsides. Judging by my in box it looks like we are ready for another big bust.

If I see FWD FWD in the subject line I don't even bother opening especially if it is from 3 or folks that I know they haven't checked their emails for a couple days
What really gets my goat is those that forward "alert" emails that are either urban legends or have incorrect information
I am tempted to to a reply all and advise them of this

Delete them ! These things drive me crazy. Some of them are really bad - I got one once that told of all the misfortune of people that didn't follow the chain (they died, family died)....... HOW STUPID ! I don't have time for that, and I am certainly not going to bother my friends with it!

When I used to get those emails I would send a straight forward email to the person and ask that they do not do that. Unfortunately they would get mad, so now I just delete them and ignore then and NEVER pass them on etc.

That's always the problem "they get MAD" because you ask them to stop it! Why get mad ,,,,, just don't do it again. I didn't ask for you to send it to me, DID I?

I HATE those forward emails! Those just go right in my spam folder now
What's even worse is recently I've been getting those same type of emails, except in a text message to my phone. It's extremely annoying..and there's no spam folder on a cell phone unfortunately

If I don't know the sender, it goes directly into SPAM.
If the subject reads something like "Dear Beneficiary" it's reported and sometime I send a reply saying.
"THIS FRAUD SCAM HAS BEEN REPORTED"
That way they usually get rid of your e-mail address.
