Today's Questions(s):

In honor of National Sibling Day

How many siblings do you have? Believe we have had this one before. Remember I didn't think I had any siblings because I thought a sibling was a brother or sister younger than you and I am the youngest. My mother birthed eight children. Two lasted less than one day and one died at four years old, so I grew up the youngest of five, since I had never seen those three. We are down to two now. It is just me and my brother that is three years older then me.

Bonus Question:

We are such a wonderful varied group I thought it would be fun to see what our backgrounds are

What is your family heritage? Ancestors are Scotch Irish, English Royal Family and I have the blue blood to prove it (which is probably why my mothers first two babies died shortly after the home birth), German, American Indian, and I think that is it unless I forgot something. I just call myself All American.

Extra Credit Just for Fun Questions:

When was the last time you dyed eggs? Couple of years ago with my grandchild.

Do you have many safety pins in your home? Yes, I have been on here too long. I feel like I should cut and paste last year's answers.

Cauliflower: Yay, but not hippee.

What was your last frisson ? My daughter had brought home a book of ghost stories from her school library and I thought I would read a little of it before I went to sleep, thinking it would be rather light weight. It scared the you know what out of me! I was starting at every noise, but I didn't put it down.

Cauliflower: Yay or Nay Only in very small doses, nicer with a white sauce.

Word of the Day:
frisson \free-SOHN\, noun:
A moment of intense excitement; a shudder; an emotional thrill.

good morning.

I'm an only child. My father used to call me an IAP. Irish American Princess. I'm Irish and English.

Last time I dyed eggs was in grade school.

No safety pins at the "river shack." I have some at the other place.

My last fission was last night. It's OK I'm married and it was with my husband!

I love cauliflower with cheese and Worcestershire sauce.

Have a great weekend. Hope the Easter Bunny visits you!

How many siblings do you have?

I am the only one from my Mom and Dad, but my Mom had six other children (3 boys 3 girls) and my Dad had one other child (girl). They were all grown up and moved out by the time I was born. I was one of those "Uh, oh, I thought we were done with that" surprises!

What is your family heritage?

Mostly Italian, but a little German and Irish. As I mentioned in another post - - - probably a deadly combination!!

When was the last time you dyed eggs?

Last year with the kids! We plan to do it again tomorrow. It may just be me and my daughter, though, because my son is having a friend spend the night, and they may be "too manly" for that!

Do you have many safety pins in your home?

I might be able to scrounge up one from somewhere!

What was your last frisson?

I'm really glad you provided the meaning of the word! When I first saw it, I was thinking "Oh my, I have no clue what that is - these people are too smart for me!" About the frisson - - - I'll never tell!!

Cauliflower - Yay or Nay

I would lean towards the nay side. I will eat it if it is mixed in with other stuff, but not by itself.

Happy Easter!!!
