Good morning everyone
Happy Friday
I had a nice surprise hubby took the day off
So I am not sure what adventures we will come up with for today
It is suppose to be a really nice day so I am thinking yard work but lol I don't think that is his idea of a fun day off

So we "may have to go out" for breakfast to discuss the possibilities

But before I do
Lets discuss

Today's Questions(s):

In honor of National Sibling Day

How many siblings do you have ?

Bonus Question:

We are such a wonderful varied group I thought it would be fun to see what our backgrounds are

What is your family heritage ?

Extra Credit Just for Fun Questions:

When was the last time you dyed eggs?

Do you have many safety pins in your home ?

What was your last frisson ?

Cauliflower: Yay or Nay

Today in History:
1790 - U.S. Patent system forms
1849 - Walter Hunt of New York City patented the safety pin. Most of us still use the device which comes in a variety of sizes and is quite handy to have around
1877 - 1st human cannonball act performed in London
1916 - The Professional Golfers Association (PGA) held its first championship tournament.
1962 1st major league game in Houston, Colt .45s beat Chicago Cubs, 11-2
1962 1st baseball game at LA's Dodger Stadium, they lose 6-3 to Reds
1971 1st baseball game at Philadelphia's Veterans Stadium, Phils beat Expos
4-1

Word of the Day:

frisson \free-SOHN\, noun:
A moment of intense excitement; a shudder; an emotional thrill.

Today is:

Good Friday
National Cinnamon Crescent Day
Golfers Day
National Sibling Day
ASPCA Day

Have a great day with your beloved today, Karla! Hope it's a fun-filled one for you both.

Today's Questions(s):

In honor of National Sibling Day

How many siblings do you have ?

Just one sister who is nearly 12 years younger than I am.

Bonus Question:

We are such a wonderful varied group I thought it would be fun to see what our backgrounds are

What is your family heritage ?

I'm a real Heinz-57 type: my dad's ancestry was Dutch and French-Canadian, and my mom's ancestry was Welsh and Scottish. You could call me a Teutono-Celt, I suppose.

Extra Credit Just for Fun Questions:

When was the last time you dyed eggs?

Oh, gosh, it would have been when my kids were small, so probably at least 15 years ago now. I honestly don't recall.

Do you have many safety pins in your home ?

A few, maybe half a dozen in the junk drawer in the kitchen and a couple more in my sewing box.

What was your last frisson ?

That's kind of a personal question, don't you think??? Oh, wait, you're not talking about THAT kind of frisson..... I guess it would have been the moment when a years-long project at work came to a successful fruition, a week or so ago.

Cauliflower: Yay or Nay

Yum! Love it in salads, steamed with a bit of cheese over the top, in soups and stir-fries, or just to crunch on for a snack!

Happy Friday everyone.

I had one sister.

What is your family heritage ? I'm a mutt but a lovable one, lol. My mother's side is Irish and Danish and my father's side is German and Italian.

When was the last time you dyed eggs? So long that I don't even remember.

Do you have many safety pins in your home ? In my sewing kit.

What was your last frisson ? I am happy all the time but I don't get "intensely emotional" about anything(well as long as it doesn't involve my DH). If I won the lottery I would probably say thanks and put it in the bank, lol.

Cauliflower: Yay or Nay [/b] Yay I especially like it with melted cheese.

Have a great weekend all and Happy Easter.
