Happy Easter everyone! My family and I had Easter brunch with Nomad and his lovely wife! They came back with us to the condo and he so graciously took photos of the family! What a memorable Easter this is for me. I am blessed with a good friend I met here at CD, and I should be so lucky to be able to meet him in person. I know you folks miss him but he has had a very large meal and I'm sure he needs his nap, but in a few, he should be back posting.
Awww, I just found this thread..The day is drawing to a close now and I just hope that everyone had a wonderful , blessed Easter Sunday..I spent it , as I do each holiday, surrounded by the family for a good meal, picture taking and lots of love and laughter..All have left now, some to work, some for home to store or eat the leftovers I made sure everyone took with them..
It is a beautiful starry night here, I think I will don my old fleece jacket and sit on the deck and thank my Lord for the reason we celebrate this day..

Hope everyone had a lovely and blessed Easter. We had a fairly nice day. Sometimes I wish we had more family still to celebrate such days with, but...it is what it is. The weather was rainy and cool here, not "Easter-like" at all. Now...I enjoyed that, but I'm sure it kinda moved many a egg hunt indoors!
Our church had originally scheduled the children's Easter egg hunt for Sunday but they had re-scheduled to Saturday which proved to be a good thing. Saturday was sunny and about 70 here.
