Our school is winding down here too graduation is this Friday. The kids have to go 2 days next week though for snow make up days. Final exams have started for all grades minus seniors they are finished. Boy this year flew by for real.

Driving down the street in town tonight I just crossed 2 lanes and veered right into Arbys for supper. Of course there were no cars in my way but it shocked my kids and me for sure.

What was the thing you took a picture of? What I didn't take a picture of today (yesterday) were the beautiful blooms on the Blue Ridge Parkway. There was a yellowish orange mountian laurel that was just beautiful.
Extra Credit Question:
What was the last spontaneous thing you did? We got an e-mail that a distant cousin was finishing the Ap trail, so we got in the car and drove to Taylor Moutain Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway and met his family there waiting for him to finish. That is a very scary spot on the Parkway.
The most interesting part of the day was being in the parking lot of the overlook and meeting all the hikers coming through. At that spot the Parkway becomes part of the trail and they walk through the parking lot. Hikers love food, so if you want to spend an interesting day, just go to that location near milepost 96 and 97, take fresh food with you to give the hikers. It is a little like halloween since they do not know you, just give them something they can tell is safe food. I offered granola bars and a pepsi and one of the hikers accepted the pepsi and drank it and gave me back the empty can. There used to be trash cans at most of the overlooks??

Horror Movies: I have watched some when family wanted to watch them together. I consider them to be a great waste of time. I prefer spy thrillers, mysteries and historical romance adventure movies like Cold Mountain and Gone with the Wind.
