Have you ever been to a Drive In Movie ? Yes, used to love those! Wish there were more around these days. They were the best of both worlds... You swere safe from perverts in your own locked car, could adjust the volume of the movie to your own liking, could take your dog (used to do that all the time) and your own snacks and cooler. Those were the good old days!
Ever played Bingo ? Yes, used to be a regular many moons ago

Karla happy bday to your FIL! I got busy with chores forgot to come to the QOD today earlier. Having kids home my schedule tends to sway a bit from the norm but I love having them home for the summer. Tell DH he did a very nice job on the table!

We have an old truck we use on the farm that doesn't get much driving time for a couple of months at a time. So everytime we put him back into use we have to jump him the first time then he turns into the wonder work horse that he has been since 1988!

Oh, I'm hopelessly un-makeover-able, so I'd choose one of the rooms in the house. The tough thing would be picking just ONE room, because they all need help. If the makeover were just decorating help, I'd probably pick the living room, but if home makeovers include any kind of remodeling work, it would have to be the bathroom.

Not I. Caterwauling is not an attractive activity for people my age.

Yes, jumper cables, ice scrapers and a foldable shovel are basic automotive necessities in the Midwest, and they are always in the trunk of my car.

As mentioned above, I've never done it myself, but I loaned the jumpers to a co-worker whose battery died in one of the cold snaps we had last January.

Anyone who's willing to do a makeover on a grumpy old bear is good enough for me, so I'm gonna cheat and ask Latte'Chic to do the makeover on me. The makeover fairy will be invited to work on the house. I'd be satisfied with a simple kitchen do-over, but since the makeover fairy is involved, I'm going to expand the plans to include the larger space which includes the living room and dining area. I'll be extremely happy if the fairy would just wave her little wand and make the wrong things right! I'm going to cheat even further by expanding this area with a couple of sets french doors that lead to a wrap-around deck with sun room. If the makeover fairy does a good job, I'll invite her back next year to work on the other half of the downstairs.

Yes! I miss them so much! The last movie I saw at a drive-in was a Steve Martin movie. It was "The Man with Two Brains"....goofy. They tore down the theatre not long after that.
